The BJP on Thursday appointed Dharmendra Pradhan as the Bihar election incharge, backed by his proven track record of successfully leading the party's election campaigns in Odisha and Haryana.
Under his leadership, the BJP secured significant victories in both states.

The party also appointed C R Patil, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Murlidhar Mohol as co-incharges for the crucial polls due by Nov 2025.
Last year, Dharmendra Pradhan was the BJP’s election incharge in Odisha, where the party formed a government for the first time by defeating Naveen Patnaik’s Biju Janata Dal.
Pradhan is credited for shaping the Lotus party’s manifesto and campaign.
After Odisha, Pradhan took charge of the BJP’s campaign in Haryana.
His focus on grassroots outreach and direct contact with party workers helped the BJP win a third consecutive term, securing 48 out of 90 seats despite anti-incumbency factors.
In Tamil Nadu, BJP vice-president Baijayant Panda has been appointed in-charge, while Union minister Murlidhar Mohol will serve as co-incharge. Assembly elections in both states are due next year.
Both Pradhan and Yadav are seen within the party as experienced election managers, having overseen several state campaigns in recent years.
