"Not a single civilian killed during Operation Sindoor, only terrorists" ---- :: "We have proof," claims Amit Shah on Pak involvement in Pahalgam terrorists : : Slams P Chidambaram

"These were the same terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. We have irrefutable proof. Their Pakistani voter numbers were pulled out. What more evidence is needed?" Amit Shah said.

In total, 1,055 people were interrogated for over three hours. Based on the information, sketches were created. Following this, on June 22, two men - Bashir and Parvez - were identified as men who provided shelter to the terrorists.  -- Home Minister

Asserting that India possesses conclusive evidence of the terrorists' identity and origin, Amit Shah said two of the terrorists killed as part of Operation Mahadev had Pakistani voter identity numbers and that even the chocolates recovered from their possession were manufactured in Pakistan.

He also accused Chidambaram of giving a "clean chit" to Pakistan with such statements.

Shah claimed there were conclusive evidence that two of the terrorists had Pakistani voter identity numbers, and even the chocolates recovered from them were manufactured in Pakistan.

It may be mentioned that after three months and six days, Army and other security forces including J&K police hunted down the mastermind of a terrorist attack in which 26 civilians were shot dead in the Baisaran valley of Pahalgam on April 22.

The security forces avenged the attack by killing Hashim Musa, alias Suleiman Shah, in an encounter near Srinagar along with two terrorists today.

Suleiman Shah, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist, is a former commando of the Pakistan Army's elite unit - Special Service Group (SSG). He later reportedly joined UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed's LeT to carry out terror activities.

Interveing in the debate on Operation Sindoor, the Home Minister said Lok Sabha on Tuesday, July 29th, that all three terrorists killed in Monday's 'Operation Mahadev' in Srinagar were Pakistani nationals.

These Pakistanis had carried out the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam killing 26 Hindus.

Responding to Congress leader P Chidambaram's recent remarks suggesting the attackers could have been "homegrown" and questioning the evidence of Pakistani links, Shah said India had irrefutable proof of their identity and origin.

"Terrorism is due to Pakistan and Pakistan was created due to Congress mistakes.....

They committed a mistake by accepting Partition".

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said: "In a joint Operation Mahadev, the Indian Army, CRPF and J&K Police have neutralised three terrorists who were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack."

Union Home Minister also said -

"Yesterday, they (Congress) were raising questions about why there was no war....Today, PoK exists only because of Jawaharlal Nehru...In 1960, they gave 80% of the Indus waters to Pakistan....

In 1971, during the Simla Agreement, they (Congress) forgot about PoK. If they had taken PoK then, we would not have to carry out attacks on camps there now...".

Shah observed:

: "Yesterday, former Home Minister Chidambaram raised a question about the proof of the terrorists coming from Pakistan... Whom does he want to save?

What will he gain by defending Pakistan?... We have the proof that these three were Pakistanis. We have voter ID numbers of the two of them... The chocolates recovered from them are made in Pakistan... The former Home Minister of this country is giving a clean chit to Pakistan.

If they were not Pakistanis, then Chidambaram is also raising the question as to why Pakistan was attacked... 130 crore people are watching their conspiracy to save Pakistan...".

Shah further said, "Yesterday they (Congress) were asking us where the terrorists came from and who was responsible for it. Of course, it is our responsibility as we are in power.

Yesterday, former Home Minister Chidambaram ji raised the question - what is the proof that the terrorists came from Pakistan? I want to ask him what he will get by saving Pakistan. When he says this, it means they are giving a clean chit to Pakistan."

Chidambaram, a former Home Minister himself, had on Monday questioned the assumption that the Pahalgam attackers were from Pakistan, saying: "Have they (government) identified the terrorists? Where they came from? I mean, for all we know, they could be homegrown terrorists. Why do you assume that they came from Pakistan? There's no evidence of that."

Facing criticism for his statement, Chidambaram later issued a clarification. Hitting back at what he called a "deliberate misinformation campaign", he said his remarks were being misrepresented by selectively muting and clipping portions of his interview.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah blames Jawaharlal Nehru for Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

"In 1948, Indian armed forces were in a decisive position to take back PoK, but then PM Nehru declared a unilateral ceasefire," said Mr Shah in Parliament.

"We conducted surgical strikes inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir; strikes done 100km inside their country," said Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Parliament while sharing information on Operation Sindoor.

"Not a single civilian killed during Operation Sindoor, only terrorists and terror bases," said Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
