"Congress shying away from debate on Operation Sindoor" ::: "Opposition not letting the discussion ..... This looks preplanned" - says BJP

BJP MP Sambit Patra says, "It is unfortunate. The entire nation is sitting in front of the television, expecting a discussion on Operation Sindoor... The Opposition is creating a ruckus and tearing papers in the well. The nation is watching as the Opposition is not letting the discussion take place.

"This looks pre-planned... They demanded a discussion, but they didn't let the discussion take place. The Opposition is not standing with Operation Sindoor and the bravery of our army.

P Chidambaram is giving a clean chit to Pakistan. It is not he who is speaking; it is the voice of the Gandhi family and the Congress. Chidambaram is only articulating it...", Patra said.

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said: "Attitude of #Opposition in #LokSabha proves #Congress and allied #Opposition parties are shying away from discussing the success of #OperationSindoor ... a very important debate but #RahulGandhi did not come".

Lok Sabha adjourned thrice.

Both the Houses of #Parliament adjourned till 2 pm.

#LokSabha could not take up debate on #OperationSindoor

Piyush Goyal says, "The attitude of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha today clearly proves that the Congress party and their allied Opposition parties are shying away from discussing the success of Operation Sindoor and the pride that our soldiers and armed forces have brought to India. "
