Defence Minister Rajnath Singh initiates debate in Lok Sabha on Operation. This was a historic operation, he said and it reflected the determination of new India.
The Minister said all three forces displayed "strategic wisdom" and maturity in undertaking the operation.
They were given free hand by the Modi Govt, he asserted. More than 100 terrorists, their handlers and trainers were eliminated in the Operation Sindoor, the Defence Minister said.
During debate in Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh says, "Soon after Pahalgam attack, our Armed Forces took action and hit with precision the nine terrorist infra sites in which more than 100 terorrists, their trainers and handlers were targeted."

The Defence Minister also said, "The joint declaration of the SCO defence ministers' meeting did not mention terrorism. Therefore, India did not sign the declaration.
When the PM attended the BRICS meeting in Brazil, the joint declaration issued in the presence of China condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu-Kashmir."
