“The government in India, New Delhi, and top brass of the armed forces are cautious enough not to brag too much about this, even to deny it, but we have seen videos showing strikes on one of the… no actually, two defence nuclear weapons storage facilities in Pakistan…,” Tom Cooper told News18.  

Cooper has his reputation as a well known Austrian military historian and combat aviation plus military analyst.

He has hailed Indian achievement. 

Tom Cooper is a well-known name in the world of combat aviation history and aerial warfare analysis. He has worked in regions like the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa and has more than 50 books and 1,000 articles in his credit.  

According to Cooper, India could strike Pakistan's nuclear facilities and Islamabad would have no means to hit back. 

“This caution means they are absolutely sure Pakistan can’t keep back, Pakistan has no means to pull these weapons out and put them on missiles or aircraft and shoot them at India," Cooper said.

The remarks by Cooper came days after India and Pakistan announced halting of military action from both sides. 

On Monday, the Indian Armed Forces provided evidence that India had downed a Pakistani Mirage fighter jet, as well as PL-15 air-to-air missile and Turkish-origin Songar drones.

In a series of media interviews with TV channels and others, Cooper has stated that:

"The moment Indian Air Force started striking Nuclear weapon storage facilities in Pakistan, it was absolutely clear that Pakistan is not entirey defenceless but largely .... now of course the Govt in India and top brass of armed forces are cautious enough not to brag too much about this....it is two different nuclear weapons storage facilities in Pakistan. 

This is ... (crucial). I cannot emphasis this further. You do not play with enemy nuclear facilities. Nobody is doing that." 

Rather Indian generals are cautious ... "they are not going to shoot all over the place.... This means they are cautious and if they are cautious; this means they are absolutely sure that Pakistan can't hit back". 

Answering questions Cooper says: "It is true ... Nuke facilities are cutting edge technology. There is no doubt about it. But the point is ....... Indian intelligence and India has found solutions to the Pakistani defence system. It has found solutions for countering Pakistani Air Force".  

"India has hit terror camps, destroyed Pakistan's deterrent, neutralised it and from that point .... India could do anything inside Pakistan... That's why it is so important. 

And Pakistan could not defend itself ... that is why I call it a clear cut victory because I come to your home and beat you and throw you out .. it is a big victory. It is as simple as that".
