Collision Course :::: How Indian armed forces took the battle to the enemy camp and left them devastated

Indian armed forces took the battle into the enemy camp and left them devastated. It will take years if not decades for Pakistanis to come out of the shock.

In all, 23 minutes and as many as 13 air bases were gone.

More than 13 air bases, drone centres, and radar bases were targeted in a span of 23 minutes. It was this strong military action that brought Pakistan to kneesand forced it to seek seek a ceasefire.

Take for instance --

The Indian targets included communication buildings, runways, operation centres, radar sites, aircraft hangars and shelters at Nur Khan and other air bases.

Nur Khan air base is “home to the air refuelling capability that would keep Pakistani fighters aloft".

BASE NUR KHAN, RAWALPINDI - Close to Pak Army HQ, n-command

So it was a real and real-time success. Home to the Air Force's (PAF) Aur Mobility Command and the PAT College Chaklala, this is one of Pakistan's most important bases.

This also sees VIP transport strategic operations, and aviator training.

The base houses FAF transport aircraft such at Lockheed C-130 Karakoram-4. With the  Army's General Headquarters Hercules, There was also a Strategic Plant Divsion.

This base was the heart of the Pakistani military establishment.

One of those briefings, Air Marshal A K Bharti presented photo evidence of damage to these military bases, noting that specific targets in airfield of Nur Khan and others sustained significant damage during the retaliatory action.

Retaliatory strikes were also conducted at Rafiqui, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Skardu, Bholari, and Jacobabad air bases. Coming after Pakistan targeted multiple locations in India with missiles and drones, India’s missile strike on Nur Khan military base could have been seen as a deliberate signal that if provoked, India can go inside the Pakistani territory and hit highly sensitive and strategic locations in the country

The strike on Malir Cantonment in Karachi was confirmed on Monday as part of Operation Sindoor—India’s response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Home to critical military infrastructure, Malir Cantt holds strategic significance in Pakistan’s defence setup.

Air Marshal Bharti stated that as India’s “measured and calibrated” response to Pakistani aggression, Indian armed forces targeted military installations, including a surface-to-air missile site at Malir Cantonment in Karachi.

PAF Base Chaklala was renamed in honour of Air Marshal Nur Khan, the base's first Pakistani commander in 1947 who went on to lead the Pakistan Air Force from 1965 το 1969.

During Operation Sindoor and the manner it gave dividends, now the government recognises the need for additional funding to acquire advanced systems such as more Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) and refuelers for the Indian Air Force.

Similar investment would be needed to further bolster India's air defence systems, which proved to be an impregnable shield.

The Operation highlighted how future military operations are likely to see more and more use of standoff weapons such as BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles. Harop-like kamikaze drones are also expected to play a significant role in degrading enemy warfighting capabilities.

The Murid base is the home base of Pakistan's growing fleet of combat drones, and one of the PAF's most important forward operational flying bases.

Its more than eight hangars house unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) such as the indigenously developed GIDS Shabpar and NESCOM Burraq, the Chinese Chengdu Wing Loong Il, and the Turkish Bayraktar 12 and Bayraktar Akinci

PAF BASE SUKKUR, SUKKUR

Doubles as a civilian airport, Important for northern Sindh

This is another forward operational base of the PAF which doubles as the Begum Nusrat Bhutto International Airport Sukkur, the second major civilian airport operational in Sindh after Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.

Originally built as a military aerodrome during World War II, the Sukkur base operates under PAF's Southern Air Command

Pakistan took a double standard view point saying we extend moral support to Kashmiris seeking independence from India.

In reality, it has PoK.

Secondly, supporting terror activities both in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of India became its habitual and 'time to time' adventurism.

But no longer. New Delhi has been firm as well like never before. That way the Modi Govt succeeded in refocusing international attention on Pakistan-based militant groups, renewing calls for Islamabad to take meaningful action.

Experts are pointing at something called reputational cost for Pakistan and this is easily being linked/associated to the militant groups operating from its soil.
