India hit underground site complex at Pakistan's Murid air base :::::: Strike targets highly secure sub-complex within the air base

"A few points regarding India's strike at Murid Airbase, Pakistan

NO proof to support wild nuclear chatter

NO evidence for sub-suface damage

YES its deeply buried/protected - could store weapons or protect personnel

YES strike is symbolic, with intent to warn" - tweeted geo-intelligence and defence analyst Damien Symon.

Satellite pics show India hit underground site complex at Pakistan's Murid air base

Satellite images show a 3-metre-wide crater just 30 metres from the entrance of a highly secured sub-complex, possibly housing an underground facility at Murid air base.

Recent satellite imagery suggests that Pakistan's strategically important Nur Khan airbase sustained more extensive damage during India's 'Operation Sindoor' than previously believed. Nur Khan, a vital hub for Pakistan's drone and VIP air fleet, is located in Rawalpindi, less than 25 kilometres from Islamabad. The base is a high-value target, housing key assets of the Pakistan Air Force.

"A review of Nur Khan Airbase, Pakistan, reveals the entire complex near India's strike location has now been demolished, suggesting the strike's effect went beyond the two special-purpose trucks-possibly presenting a broader footprint of the damage," defence analyst Damien Symon posted on X.

A fresh assessment reveals that a large complex near the strike site has been demolished, expanding the perceived impact of the Indian Air Force's precision strikes.

Satellite imagery captured by Maxar Technologies shows a nearly 3-metre-wide crater just 30 metres from the entrance of a heavily fortified sub-complex within the Murid air base. The crater’s proximity to what is believed to be an underground structure has raised speculation that India aimed to strike deep-buried assets, possibly linked to command-and-control functions or drone operations.

India’s May 10 airstrike on Pakistan’s Murid air base during Operation Sindoor may have targeted a suspected underground facility, high-resolution satellite images show.

"The strike targets a highly secure sub-complex within the air base that has multiple protection layers, including its own double fencing and watchtowers, making it most likely a high-value target," Damien Symon, geo-intelligence researcher at the Intel Lab, told India Today.

The strike appears to have breached the perimeter defences of this high-value zone, hinting at the use of precision-guided munitions and deep-penetration targeting. If confirmed, this would be the first known instance of India attempting to disable subterranean military infrastructure in Pakistan.

Elsewhere on the base, damage is visible to the roof of what appears to be a command-and-control building adjacent to a UAV complex and hangar. Satellite images supplied by Maxar Technologies to India Today, dated April 16, show the building intact.

The post-strike image from May 10 reveals visible damage to the structure.
