"We have a porous border of nearly 2,200 km and Pakistan is desperately trying to use Bangladesh as a launchpad to organise terror attacks," said BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya in France.
He is part of the European delegations to European countries.
"We have many Bengalis and Bangladeshis here (in France). The way radicalisation is spreading needs to be addressed by us. No religion teaches us to kill," he said.
The Rajya Sabha member also said:
"The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the narrative that no attack from Pakistan will go unanswered. Pakistan has paid the price of Sindoor.
Political parties, despite their differences, have come together to send the message that Pakistan should be diplomatically isolated and be declared a terrorist state," he said.
Opposition MPs toes Modi Govt's line and blasts Pakistan for inflicted numerous wounds to India by its terrorism tool. Even as frustrating voices have emerged from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and others including from Shiv Sena (UBT); Priyanka Chaurvedi (of Uddhav Thackray-led party) said :
"Yes, I come from the land of Gandhi... we all come from the land of Buddha; but we also come from the land of (God) Krishna. In Mahabharat when Arjuna was reluctant to fight against his own family members. that is when Lord Krishna had told him -- "Agar dharm wapas lana hae to yudh bhi karna hoga
(If you want to bring back Dharma or righteousness back, you will have to fight).
She also added: "Yudh is not a conventional war, it is a war in all its forms to ensure there is no adharma at least in the land of peace".
Congress member Manish Tewari's words would also leave Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party aggrieved.
He said in response to questions during interaction: "To the best of my knowledge and information there are no back channels. Only channel which was used was the two DGMOs talking to each other.
"The call was made Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan ....".
Another Congress leader and a former Union Minister Anand Sharma said: "The Govt of India has made it clear that there is no third party intervention".
Former Union Minister and an ex Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Axad said -- ISI had once tried to kidnap his own child.
"These two ISI people in my absence when I was in office came home to kidnap my child," said Ghulam Nabi Azad.
