Possible world of G-3 and also three 'Hindu leaders' ::: Pros and Cons; Hype and Feasibility

This is soon turning out to be a world beyond imagination. Are we heading for a world with G-3 being most powerful and influential  players - the United States, China and India ?

There is already a talk of another world -- a global stage with three 'Hindu leaders' - Narendra Modi in India, Rishi Sunak in the United Kingdom and Vivek Ramaswamy in the United States ?

Ramaswamy 'successful businessman'

Both these scenarios mark 'nightmare' for many. In India, the Congress party, its 'permanent yet to fructify' leader Rahul Gandhi and the likes of Jairam Ramesh or Pawan Khera are all set to do their job --- come out with tweets and statements.

And the world will be ready to 'welcome' or blast  the vitriolic remarks from their own perspective.

A 'proud Hindu' but British PM

Of course, the Modi-bashing club in India will have one basic complain, why should India be in both the categories. For them, India's pluralism, progress and prosperity stopped since 2014 -- and yet both the people of India and the US (and also other western countries) are not willing to buy their line and stay way from Namo.

The grand old party is also unable to realise that their 'mohabat ki dukan' has successfully opened 'success' malls for the man they hate/dislike most - Narendra Modi.

So each day and each weekend, they have to find new ways to lampoon India's success story. The latest being the new Parliament Building. Some even say it is like a seven star hotel and 'so much unlike a Parliament' !!  Ting Tong -- a musical node Sickularism just likes !!

Then comes G-20, while the world has hailed India's presidency; this is what someone has to say vis-a-vis lament.

"More notably, Xi Jinping chose to stay away from the summit, the first time a Chinese president has done so. This reflects....," ran a sentence in an article published recently.

Now sample this:

"By hosting the G20 summit, and, earlier, the SCO meetings, and playing an active role in expanding BRICS, India wants to send a message that a country, which is the world’s most populous, with the fifth largest economy and a large democracy (Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindutva policies notwithstanding), should be a permanent member of the UN Security Council, an objective India has pursued for many decades in cooperation with Brazil, Germany and Japan."

Both the above statements -- surprisingly for you - have not come from any Congress spokespersons or virtuous leaders. Nor have these come from some 'desperate' columnists and TV-anchors whom can put off the viewers but will never be 'boycotted'.  Well, the statements come from a former Pakistani foreign secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry in 'Dawn newspaper'.

I need not dispute anything. Because I also believe great men think alike. So, India is nowhere in the position of any big league, according to one particular school of thought.

Forget Modi and Modi-bashers for a while. Let us talk about the real question/issue raised in this issue - Can the trio of Modi,Rishi Sunak and Vivek Ramaswamy can bring a paradigm shift in the global order. Will the 'time' to come will be three most powerful Hindu leaders deciding the fate of modern world?

Firstly, can the three come together? Second issue is, can Ramaswamy really make it ... why he seems to be in a hurry as he is still only in his late 30s?And of course thirdly; will the world appear a lot different than what it is today?

The hypothesis one has tried to build up also throws up yet another question --- Will these three be nightmare to some?

Let us exempt Rahul Gandhi or any Indian opposition leader from the discussions as the topic will not require any debate. But can we then talk of a 'Hindu phobic India haters' -- is this phenomenon also a reality?

On the other hand, to counter Sickularism -- pro-Hindutva argument is that the 'universal brotherhood approach' of Hindus could emerge as a game changer.

Now practical issues at stake. At 38, Vivek Ramaswamy is the youngest Republican Presidential aspirant in US history. Moreover, he will not be first Indian origin going for high posts in the US.

Kamala Harris is now incumbent Vice President. But her mother is Indian and father a Black American and thus she is a Christian.  But what goes in favour of Vivek -- as of now is - he is a successful entrepreneur.

He is developing medicines for a prostate cancer drug and a female infertility drug. Vivek also runs Roivant Sciences, a biotech holding company with an innovative financial strategy to develop drugs, often by purchasing drugs that have been forgotten or abandoned by the pharmaceutical industry.

The  Axovant company is also trying to develop a new Alzheimer’s drug. Ramaswamy has able to touch American chord well. He hails free-market economy and did say Modi is the best thing to happen to India at least from this free-market point of view.

“I think he’s (Modi) been an excellent prime minister for India. I think he has unapologetically embraced free-market capitalism   It’s the best system known to man to lift people up from poverty. We know that from our experience here in the United States.”

Hence, the coming US elections and as much the Lok Sabha poll in India in 2024 are all very important. The talk of the town in America is even if Donald Trump makes it as the President yet again, Ramaswamy may become his Vice President. Now comes a more critical part.

Abby Johnson, an activist, has expressed her concerns about Vivek Ramaswamy's rise in the polls during the 2024 presidential primary.

In an opinion piece, Carrie Sheffield wrote: "It’s discouraging to see some of my fellow conservatives attacking rising GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for his Hindu faith. It is wrong and un-American.

It violates the spirit, if not the law, of the Constitution. And it could backfire on Christians as our share of the US population dwindles.

It is also entirely counterproductive for those who claim to support traditional values and religious liberty."

The results are that apparently Ramaswamy is now trying to fashion his own 'practice' of Hindism as something that will appear as 'complimentary' to Christianity and vice versa but not as a confrontation idea to one another.

But the question remains, will Ramaswamy able to function without any pressures from influential Christian groups.

Hank Kunneman, pastor of the nondenominational Lord of Hosts Church in Omaha, Nebraska, attacked Ramaswamy in a sermon by saying that, as president, he would be “some dude put his hand on something other than the Bible” and who would “put all of his strange gods up in the White House.”

And America is still a tolerant nation !! More on these will follow !!
