Ideological subversion ... is something which was done to Indian intellectuals, academicians and media .... this promoted a culture to 'insult Hinduism'

"The basic purpose of subversion is to screw up the perception of reality of your enemy to such an extent that he does not perceive you as enemy.

And your system, your civilization and your ambitions appear to him as an alternative. You cannot subvert an enemy who does not want to be subverted.

-- Yuri Bermenov, ex-KGB spy

Bezmenov said that 85% of KGB’s time, money, and manpower is spent on ideological subversion and only 15% on intelligence gathering.

To put it in the simplest of terms, ideological subversion is a method to make native 'populations ashamed of valid and valued traditions including religion, history, heritage, and culture'.

This happened with Indians academicians and students across institutions and varsities.

This was followed by 'disrupting governments' by any possible means.

Spreading disunity among citizens, and turning younger generations against older ones are some of the principles of ideological subversion that KGB has borrowed from Sun Tzu’s book Art of War.

Demoralization of the Hindu society begins right from our history textbooks that has been distorted at the hands of Marxist historians who were put in charge of the education system.

The Marxist-Islamist grip was so strong in the entertainment/film industry.

Filmmakers would take liberty in 'normalizing Hindu hatred' or dislike for the rituals and beliefs.

In the name of ‘creative license’, 'murti puja' would be degraded. There will be a direct or indirect attack on Hindu Dharma. Hence a temple priest would be shown as a crook, informer for the dacoits, but the 'Khan chacha' or Sister Miranda will be virtuous saving the abandoned children.

The aim is to make Hindus believe that there is something inherently inferior about their culture, religion and civilization.

Once a society is demoralized and cut off from its roots as well as traditional values, it is destabilized using various means. Bezmenov says the process of destabilization is spread over a 2-to-5-year period. In the context of the Hindu society, this is being done through movements such as Dravidianism, urban naxalism, and even insurgency movements.

The political ideology of neo-Buddhism is also on the rise which is being used to attack Hindu Dharma. In Punjab, Khalistani sentiment was created.

Even Federalism as a basis is used to precipitate a war against nationalism. This generally would encourage anti-India politics.

The anti-CAA protests based on half-baked information and then the farmers’ protests are clearly attempts at creating permanent troubles for the government.

Bezmenov says in the stage of normalization, the traditional values are replaced by Marxist-Leninist ideas that become the new normal. Once a society is cut off from its roots, then its easy to push anti-Hindu or anti-Bharat (India) sentiments and even give legitimacy to pro-Islamic or pro-Christianity overtures.
