A peafowl's appearance varies slightly depending on the species. The Indian peacock has very flashy plumage, with a bright blue head and neck, which they use to attract a mate.
It was truly a lovely amalgamation of action, reactions, silence.
The Mirror/glass wall of the window pane made things further interesting for the creature ... it thought there was already a 'mate' !!

After all the original name of APJ Abdul Kalam Road was -- Aurangzeb Road; and 'hence' the creature was doing an inspection.

Sounds quite loaded. As the bird -- one of God's wonderful creations went around the area including the tastefully designed 'gate' of the main building -- it showed a neo-confidence. It's treasure or 'wealth' !
I knew the bird won't be able to speak, but it definitely had a story.. the story of its loneliness and story of its struggle. Was it also like a journo --- struggling and picking up things and tales to narrate elsewhere .... to run the kitchen, to run the family !!
Well, what does it mean to be 'wealthy' and 'happy' ?? Let happiness be defined some other day !!
But wealth may be -- having enough money/resources and enough time to do what you want !!
I remember reading somewhere; the 'wisest' people/creatures understand that true wealth is not so much about buying 'more things' --- as it is about having more time to do what you want to do. I was wondering; and perhaps also lost in my thought -- as I took Delhi Metro's 'Made in India' compartment ---

You think a peacock is a fool? When sees its image in the mirror it would never think that what it is looking at is a possible mate. A peacock's mate doesn't look like so. It is ugly to say the least. It is called peahen, who does not have any plume. Majorly it is brown in colour. There's no speck of splendid blue on a peahen😅💁🏽♂️ - Kirti Patil, Pune
