Humour:
Politics - a fickle lady - can take a turn anytime :::::: Big boss should not fail his admirers, Big Boss is always right !!
Is the Leader encouraging the mess?
New Delhi
If failures are pillars of bigger success; what's a deliberate failure? My Leader has a rich history of applying unique strategies for solving problems, especially on issues of nationalism and fighting anti-India elements.
Hence, even in the worst of seasons, there will be a ray of hope. The leader may favour initial chaos to take the most decisive step. Is that a fair method? One is not sure. But at the end of the game, inferences of experiments will count and go down the memory lane and not trials and errors. We are in a mess.
As if, we are on a phantom train and the doors are locked, we cannot get off....and the bigger worry is that the locomotive has quickly gathered momentum. But Big Boss is always right !
Is he encouraging the mess?
Our leader is also capable of surprising friends and foes alike. In fact, he rejoices
the surprising punch. Is such a punch coming, should they prepare the belly to take the hit?
Amid a plethora of problems, what we get to know is that the Solution is far off. But on the ground, we know that the people's demand is exactly the opposite. Every individual except a few select self-seeking clubs, believe that people are crying out to hear some good words such as Solution, Development and lasting Peace with 'revived values'.
As these are not coming, this is a moment of deep anguish and hence our people and the entire society is trembling with anxiety. But who has the answer? The owner of the garden; or the village headmaster who controls a not so bright student and puts him on the job to water a lotus garden?
With regard to another state, a Muslim and a Communist came smiling and obliged the Leader and his party. These also were 'unthinkables'. So, why is something in people's admiration and dream in our case is not materialising in this case.
A few years ago in another piece of land -- that is in a colder region with a lot of snow -- the same 'anxiety' prevailed. The Big Boss had his answers ready.
If we do not go to the Big Boss now, our conventional wisdom says, we will suffer and one day some people and their logic may perish. But who is this Big Boss?
-- Only an individual who is acknowledged as anti-faith. He is also an elitist and to his critics also 'responsible' for poverty, taking away currency notes, other sufferings etc etc. Even Documentary films are outlawed.
But in this case, he is now being seen as the only 'saviour'. The Leader is keeping an eye and hopefully he will act. But he needs 'more ground to be covered' by the inertia-oriented tools of change.
His admirers have a high opinion about him. They will swear that he is not going to waste time or his energy playing politics! Can anything escape his sight ? A people's leader will neglect people's views, should we believe that?
For the people of 'my land', which is composed of faceless voters, the military, the armed militants and helpless civilians, in different measures, there is my Boss as always. But will he deliver this time?
Or, is there a bigger mission in the failure?
What counts more 'courting Himanta' or Moditva?
Are they on track vis-a-vis Nagaland ? |
New Delhi/Dimapur
It was a calm Sunday. At least two BJP leaders went for man's last option - prayers to Lord Jesus Christ.

"Yes, I went to Chakhesang Church at Kohima for Sunday service," Kevechutso Doulo, BJP's ticket aspirant for Chizami seat, told 'Nagaland Page'.
A man who strictly follows 'native Chakhesang instinct' says, "I also understand the strategic importance of my state, and the overall geo-political security scenario. My understanding of BJP's relevance to Nagaland is also focused on that perspective".
Of course he was not alone. Several of them in Mokokchung district and elsewhere also did so.
To a large extent, it is paradoxical that a lot of Naga BJP leaders and ticket aspirants -- and Christians - went for Sunday service in community churches across Nagaland on Sunday.
"It is not the business of reason to generate emotions...," the quote from the famous book 'The Conquest of Happiness' by Bertrand Russel appears so relevant here.
In the 2018 assembly elections, in many assembly segments, church leaders allegedly in their 'official' roles or as private citizens took active part trying to convince the Naga voters that they should stay away from the saffron party.
In Pughoboto assembly segment Dr A Sukhato, a medico who runs Faith Hospital in Dimapur, had lost last time by a narrow margin of 70 votes only.
He is in the news this year too. The BJP's much trusted ally NDPP led by Neiphiu Rio - arguably a friend of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and possibly also a fan of PM Narendra Modi - now wants to snatch away that seat for the sitting legislator Y Vikheho Swu.
Vikheho Swu : Rio's blue-eyed-boy |
Dr Sukhato has been working hard in the constituency for the last five years and so he finds Rio's one-upmanship unacceptable.
Dr Sukhato on Sunday resorted to the last available option -- prayers. "Prayer & declaration of my candidature for Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections @ Kitami Village on 29th Jan, 2023," he tweeted along with a few snaps.
The moot point is Nagas are also emotional. What could happen if these 'dedicated BJP soldiers' are today denied the opportunity to contest merely because the rivals (NDPP) on the garb of being friends want to take away their "two winnable" seats? The answer lies in the womb of time, and of course with the voters of Nagaland.
Those who have mastered the art of 'manipulation' only throw insults when they believe yet again they will manipulate the mandate of Feb 27. Why should guns and Indian currencies have so much say?
Hitler didn’t build the path to the Holocaust alone – ordinary people were active participants.
For Doulo, wearing the BJP cap did not come easy. He needed utmost conviction in himself and in the 'nationalistic' ideologies of BJP because his assembly segment Chizami that falls in Tenyimi belt remains typically wedded to 'regionalism'. It is most often difficult for a party like BJP to make penetration in the area.
In fact, Doulo was the only Tenyimi leader in 2018 to sweat it out at the polls on BJP ticket. Are Chizami voters now being made mere tools to push the CAA? Regionalist Shurhozelie, who suspended the errant Rajya Sabha member, has opted for the mute switch. His party MLAs dream for yet another 'UDA'.
"I have immense faith in the leadership of PM Modi because it is only a determined man like him who can solve the Naga problem," Dr Sukhato told this journalist in 2019.
The NDPP has now tried to do a cover up. Rio has offered Kohima town seat to the BJP.
A very creative offer indeed. Moreover, there is a political rumour that a close relative of the Chief Minister is eyeing this seat as an Independent candidate.
Who knows how many BJP Karyakartas and leaders will be wearing the saffron cap by next Sunday?
