Over closed-door UNSC meeting on Kashmir, US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce told a press conference:

"This is a dynamic, serious issue. It remains an evolving situation. We clearly are still closely involved in monitoring. We continue to urge Pakistan and India to work towards a responsible resolution that maintains long-term peace and regional stability in South Asia.

The spokesperson further stated:

"I think it's comfortable to have tremendous trust in the President and in the Secretary of State when it comes to how this is unfolding...".
