"What we desire will certainly happen" -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserts amid 'nervousness syndrome' in Panicistan

"It is my responsibility to give a befitting reply to those who dare to attack our country.

You all know Prime Minister Narendra Modi's work ethic and perseverance," - Rajnath Singh, May 4, 2025.

What people of Bharat desire will certainly happen: Rajnath Singh amid India-Pak tensions

A 30-minute blackout drill was held in Punjab's Ferozepur Cantonment at 9 pm on Sunday (May 4th) amid India-Pakistan tensions, with authorities urging residents to avoid using any visible external lights.

Top Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the defence minister himself, have previously vowed to retaliate as Pakistan, who is accused of masterminding the April 22 attack, feels the jitters.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh warns enemies of a strong reply

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following a series of high-level meetings with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, and the three service chiefs, have already granted the armed forces full operational freedom to respond to the terror attack in Pahalgam.

The target, mode of assault and the timing have been left with the forces.

Amid worsening ties between India and Pakistan following the deadly Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said it is his responsibility to give a "befitting" reply to those who dare to hurt India.

His statement assumes greater significance as tensions with Pakistan are spiralling by the day.

"I want to assure you that under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, what you desire will certainly happen," Singh said at an event in Delhi on Sunday.

Notably, India carried out surgical strikes n 2016 after Uri followed by Balakot air strikes after Pulwama attack.

After the Pahalgam attack, PM Narendra Modi vowed that the attackers and their backers would be identified, tracked, and punished beyond imagination.

A day after the attack in the Baisaran Valley, Rajnath Singh warned that India would identify and bring to justice everyone who conspired against it.

"We will not only reach out to those who have perpetrated this incident. We will also reach out to those who, sitting behind the scenes, have conspired to commit such nefarious acts on the soil of India," Singh said while adding that India stood united against terror and has zero-tolerance policy against it.

The Prime Minister has in effect vowed to pursue the attackers “to the ends of the earth".

We may also call RSS chief  Mohan Bhagwat's remarks as Green Flag for a decisive battle.

"Ravan ka vadh kalyan ke liye hua (Ravan was killed for the cause of good)".

There was no way to reform him (Ravan), and so Ram had to kill him. His killing was not violence," Bhagwat said at a book release function.

A 30-minute blackout drill was held in Punjab's Ferozepur Cantonment at 9 pm on May 4th, Sunday night amid India-Pakistan tensions.

Authorities directed residents that no inverter or generator lights are visible outside their homes during this period.

A letter from the cantonment authorities to the Deputy Commissioner in Ferozepur mentioned that the rehearsal is intended to ensure preparedness and effectiveness in implementing blackout procedures amid "prevailing war threats".
