Lacklustre speech by PM at Dimapur, Nagaland ::::: He gets back elements in Shillong and says, "People endorse him, they say Modi, your lotus will bloom"

PM Modi gets back his elements during Shillong roadshow and he made use of the occasion to slam Congress and their negative campaigning.

“Some people, rejected by the country, now meditate with bead-garland. They are saying ‘Modi teri kabar khudegi’. But India is saying ‘Modi tera kamal khilega’ (Modi, your lotus will bloom),” the PM told a crowd at a BJP rally after the roadshow at Shillong in Meghalaya.

What makes BJP and PM Modi himself endorse NDPP as its valued partner remains a million dollar puzzle

In Nagaland, Extortion is a reality.

--- No amount of Himanta Biswa Sarma 'friendly tales' can make a difference to this agony of people in Nagaland. Who is legitimizing them?

A Prime Minister and a regime headed by Narendra Modi which does not follow Quad consensus, which draws an independent foreign policy and even differs with Washington and Beijing is mysteriously 'soft' towards a regional party of sheer opportunists and grossly failed dispensation.

At Dimapur in Nagaland, PM Narendra Modi -- unlike him -- made an unimpressive and an average speech failing to enthuse the people of Nagaland-- who are clamouring for Solution to the long pending insurgency.

The compulsion of keeping NDPP and its favourites like the grossly failed BJP Nagaland president happy bothered him much.

But his statement that more stringent actions will be taken against extortionists once the new government is sworn in reflects an admission -- Extortion is a reality. No amount of Himanta Biswa Sarma friendly tales can make a difference to this agony of people in Nagaland. Who is legitimizing them?

What makes BJP and PM Modi himself endorse NDPP as its valued partner is a million dollar puzzle.

In Tura, hub of Garo hills in Meghalaya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that for BJP 'sabka saath, sabka vikas' is secularism and country and its citizens come first.
Meghalaya and Nagaland go to the polls on February 27 and the votes for these two states and Tripura will be counted on March 2.

Tripura voting had taken place on Feb 16.

“I can feel a new beginning in Shillong. If BJP forms the government, it will be easy for me to serve Meghalaya better,” the PM said.

He said the Northeast earlier lacked good roads, good airports and railway connectivity, which hampered its development but in the last 9 years, the NDA changed the region’s fate. “The Northeast is becoming a strong pillar of India’s Act East Policy. The Northeast is becoming a major centre of trade and tourism in the country. So, people are saying ‘Meghalaya mange BJP sarkar’ (Meghalaya wants BJP government.”
