If West, Left jokers and their legacies have been "Dhurt"; Indian elements opposed to Hindu interest and guided by Sickularism are "Murkh" ::: Context debate on Manusmriti

Rahul Gandhi - handed over some papers by Dimagi Naxal associates in all probability - flagged off the debate around Manusmriti. He did not know he just scored a hat-trick of self goals --- Vande Mataram, debate around Dimagi (mindset/mental) Naxal for pellet gun FIR and now this debate around Manusmriti.

To easily push an argument that Manusmrti is anti-women and pro-patriarchy reflects combination of both --

Dhurt and Murkh.  

The west and pro-Christian (church) lobbies may have their "dhurt (mischievous)" agenda to defame Hinduism and its philosophies and ancient texts. But to take the distorted argument as Gospel truth is utter foolishness (Murkhta) by political players in India. 

First of all, Rahul used the word 'own' in the context of men controlling women - as per Manusmriti - the fact of the matter is the actual word used is "Rakhshata (meaning protection)."   

"A woman is protected by her father in childhood, by her husband in youth, and by her sons in old age." - is the actual text. THIS WAS TO UNDERLINE MAN'S DUTIES TOWARDS WOMAN and FAMILY.

Moreover, every 'text' in a voluminous book comes with a 'context'. So, if someone had read the context - why it has been stated it would be understood better.

It is also a fact that the same Manusmriti says --  

Sanskrit: 

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः। यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफलाः क्रियाः॥

Translation: 

Where women are honored, the deities (Gods) are pleased and rejoice; where, however, they are not honored, no sacred rite or noble action yields any reward. 

Rahul Gandhi simply ignored this vital part of the Manusmriti teachings. 

The western lobbies are already on the job. A select website (occasionally doing anti-India and anti-Modi interviews) was quick at its job. 

This time interview was with a French scholar. Even before the European expert on Indian polity said something - the interviewer was repeatedly trying to sell the idea that the Congress dynast had done a great job by highlighting the fault-line in the Manusmriti.  

Fools hardly differ.  

The context of Manusmiriti's slokas/paras that deal with men's role as protector is actually in the context of ritual of performing of Yagna (sacrifice through fire). 

Even the words Pati or Patni (that is Husband and Wife) ought to be understood in their seriousness. 

Colloquially, we may say Pati for any husband. But the fact of the matter - a man who does his family/household duties and 'five' sacrifices is a Pati in real sense. One who assists the man doing those sacrifices is called Patni. 

Moreover, Hindu texts and in practice for wife the word 'ardhangini' is used. That means woman is 50 per cent of man and vice versa. In other words, a man is only (50 per cent) incomplete without a woman.  

Rahul Gandhi and his coterie will hardly understand these.  

Rahul's party and the UPA Govt had given an affidavit that Ram Setu is fictional. Hence, we know how by DNA - that party has been anti-Hindu. After 2014 poll debacle, it was not without good reason the A K Antony committee could find that the perception of being anti-Hindu has hurt the party most.   

But the grand old party is still refusing to learn any lesson.

Look at the double standards --- at the same function where Rahul spoke about 'patriarchy' among Hindu society; one woman was sitting with Hijab. He remained Silent over it. 

What was Shah Bano case? What were Delhi anti Sikh riot of 1984 -- women also attacked and what did Rajiv Gandhi say --- the earth shakes when a tree falls. 

There are other issues with Muslims. 

Talaq e biddat (a system where right to divorce is only with men )

Talaq-e-biddat (instant triple talaq) is illegal and void in India. The practice was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of India in 2017, and Parliament criminalized it through The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019.

Islamic practice allowing four wives   

What do all these mean ? 

Double standards and Sickularism. 

Islamic system also says -- a woman witness in any court has no legal sanctity unless a male - minimum age 10 - is accompanying her. 

What is Mehram ? 

Under this even in India, two sisters or a mother and her daughter could not go to Mecca for Haj.  

This norm has been abolished by the Modi Govt. Hence, technically, PM Modi as the head of his government may be 'women friendly' or not in general sense; but as for Muslim women --it definitely is. 

This is again something the Congress party or the the Sickular eco system fail to see. And the specific websites and European scholars will deliberately avoid to see or debate.
