Rahul Gandhi needs to be expelled from Lok Sabha ::::
'Kid gloves' handling of Rahul Gandhi by Modi on 'National Herald' case and his intemperate behavior as MP has boomeranged ...
Time to show him doors
If an MP behaves as a 'dynast' and says "We don't care" .... He has taken things too far.
His sense of entitlement has crossed all limits.
The Delhi High Court last month gave Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and others three weeks to reply to the ED's plea in the National Herald case. The hearing will test whether a PMLA complaint can proceed without an FIR in the scheduled offence.
"List on September 10 for arguments. Let reply, if not already filed, be filed in three weeks."
Senior counsel for the respondents sought time to respond to the ED's petition. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the ED, said the trial court had "gone terribly wrong" and pointed out that no reply had been filed even though time had been granted two months ago.
"This is only a question of law. The time to file a reply was given two months ago. I can't object to filing a reply. This is a pure question of law," he argued.
After Home Minister Amit Shah said he is ready for a 24-hour debate on the ground report of July 20 and 21 during Gen Z protest; Rahul just could not say - "We don't care".
As Parliament remained deadlocked over the Opposition's demand for a statement from Shah on the NEET student protest crackdown, the Home Minister said they should formally submit a letter seeking a discussion.
"Write a letter and submit it. We will discuss the matter from 3 pm today, and I am ready to discuss it until 3 pm tomorrow," Shah said.
The Opposition was not interested in hearing a “lecture” from the Union Home Minister and instead wanted answers on the alleged crackdown on protesting students.
“Who shot the students? Who gave the order to beat up the students with lathis with nails?” Gandhi asked.
“If Amit Shah gave this order to shoot our children, then he should resign,” he said. “For the last 20 days, Amit Shah has been missing. The Home Minister of India has no courage; he cannot come to the House.” Rahul not only ventilated personal grudge against Shah and tried to instigate saying, the students should know that the Home Minister roams about with 30 cars.
This is just not true. Now it appears Rahul Gandhi is the only one-man army of chaos who does not want government makes its position clear in Parliament.
The ongoing Monsoon session of Parliament comes to an end tomorrow, Aug 13. But no major business could be transacted. This is already being seen as a big setback to Team Modi-Shah especially resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and the FCRA Bill has been referred to the JPC. The Delimitations and Women Quota draft laws billed as the game-changers were main focus of the PM Narendra Modi; but things went out of his hands.
For narratives and perception battles; Amit Shah needs to talk in the House on July 20-21 Delhi protest and to ensure that Rahul and several other Opposition MPs should be expelled on Aug 13.
