Political stalemate .... the perceived indecisiveness is like a corrosive and harmful force for a society and the people.
It will encourage elitism of a few and also corruption of those in position to garner illegitimate money. These will finally erode the society’s trust in its leaders and will also weaken the authority of reasons and the state power.
That's Nagaland today.
The Solution is like a mirage.
There are saboteurs who get themselves fondly called the Status quo club. They have created a situation wherein the very FAITH in the rule of law and logic will be eroded.
As a result we will seldom find any social and political response that commensurate with the harm caused.

A peculiar lack of self-confidence and uncertainty shroud the reasons for Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his yeam's shifting stance. Equally surprising is how and why the 'durability' factor works in the favour of failures.
When the NSCN-IM says it will be a ridiculous idea to work as a partner to the NNPGs -- who got the real punch ?
Thus three sets of people and factors ought to take the blame - the Govt of India, the Status quo club in and outside Nagaland and the 'heavenly stars' who are closer to the mysterious source of all the power -- God.
A strong refrain has been built by circumstances.
A 'deep state' inspired by the Status quo club have cultivated a myth.
The propaganda works a lot.
For examples - around 2024 - it was circulated that the Modi Govt will go and once Congress Govt comes everything will take a U-turn.
The Status quo protagonists will have a greater say with Bolero and frequent visits to Delhi.
** Another propaganda tool was the so-called China factor.
-- We will take help of China and the Modi Govt will be left clueless.
In other words, the propaganda allows further fooling of the masses with dream merchants variety of works.
New Delhi's another set of mistakes has been the deliberate policy to reward the failures and ignoring the setbacks. The infallibility image worked.
No one showed the necessary will power except R N Ravi in recent times to play the "wise corrector" of errors.
As a result 'History' will have to analyse certain conducts of Delhi managers and the Naga leaders in future.
There seems no 'brilliant' plan behind allowing the BJP-NDPP regime continue in power vis-a-vis signing of the Solution agreement.
When will New Delhi realise their functioning styles have only encouraged contempt for perform and sincerity.
Corruption is not only a way of life. It guides the the rule of logic.
Common people are no paragons of virtues. They also represent a thought process which is technically 'more suspicious' of anyone showing sincerity to resolve the Naga issue.
If Ravi was moved out; in 2024-25, A K Mishra is being attacked.
In 2013, R N Ravi was far away from being named as interlocutor.
In an article, July 29, 2013 titled 'Nagas in a state of anarchy' -- Ravi had written calling spade a spade.
“The Naga ‘revolution’, over the years, has degenerated into a comic spectacle in which the ‘revolutionaries’ are gainfully closeted with their arch-enemy, the Indian State, while they remain unsparingly brutal with the Naga people should they ever demur on their writs, including whimsically determined ‘taxes’….
The interlocutors have not risen above mere rent-seekers. K. Padmanabhaiah, a former home secretary and effectively the first interlocutor, survived for some 12 years in this cast.
Setting the course for Naga 'peace talks' on a perverse trajectory has been his singular contribution. He ignored the popular Naga sentiment and bought into the contentious rhetoric of the NSCN-IM.
Not only that, he mischievously amplified them to successive prime ministers and home ministers. He indeed proved himself a successful marketing agent for the NSCN-IM in selling its larger-than-life profile to Delhi.
His successor, R S Pandey, is carrying on the legacy for the last four years (that is between 2009 and 2013)".
"Ding Dong Bell ..... all the players are in the well".
