Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya will be telecast live in Bangkok :::: Temple adminis. receives 3,000 applications for 20 priest posts

As the inauguration date of the Ram temple at Ayodhya draws close (January 22, 2024), the temple administration and staff are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the shrine is open for the pilgrims within the stipulated time frame. 


The appointed priests would be trained based on a syllabus prepared by top seers. During the training, the candidates will get free fooding and lodging and given stipends. 








The temple trust governing the affairs of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya said it has received more than 3,000 job applications for 20 posts of priests. 


The candidates’ interviews have been scheduled to be held at Karsevak Puram, the headquarters of Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Ayodhya.


A three-member panel, which comprises a Hindu preacher from Vrindavan, and two chief priests from Ayodhya, has been mandated to complete the hiring process. 


Expressing delight over the scheduled consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 next year, Swami Vigyanananand, founder and global chairman of World Hindu Foundation (WHF) and chief organiser of World Hindu Congress, on Friday said the ceremony will be telecast live in Bangkok and Hindus from across the globe will converge at the event, engaging in kirtans, bhajans, puja, and recitation.


The World Hindu Congress which takes place every four years, is being hosted currently in the Thai capital. Organised by the World Hindu Foundation, the event opened on Friday and will culminate on November 26.
