'The Kashmir Files' another story : Sickular media tries to scuttle Vivek Agnihotri's media briefing ?

“Press Club of India is not facilitating any program by any person or organization on 5th May. The club allows press conferences only on a pre-booking basis. Which has a due process, and booking is done through a member of the club.”

Replying to this tweet by Press Club of India, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri wrote, “Very good! @PCITweets Canceled that too. The guardian of democracy and the messiah of freedom of expression not only banned me undemocratic, but he is still telling lies.

He further wrote in his tweet that-

  1. Facts are attached.
  2. They had already booked through our agency without any member’s recommendation. The receipt of which is attached.

New Delhi

Have the 'sickular media' tried their ultimate weapon yet again with someone who has a 'true story' to share but the same does not fit their agenda?

"The Foreign Correspondents' Club (FCC) management surrendered to agenda-driven, anti-free speech and anti-truth media houses and cancelled the press conference in an undemocratic manner,” alleged filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.

A press interaction was scheduled for May 5 at the FCC and according to Agnihotri, “All logistics, arrangements and invites were made, but to my shock, yesterday (May 2) I received a call from their president saying that the event has to be cancelled as some very powerful media have taken strong objection to this conference and have threatened to resign en masse".

Agnihotri further said, “This is perhaps the first time that the messiahs and watchdogs of free speech have banned free speech in their own club. Since then I have received calls from many democratic India and foreign correspondents who wanted this press conference but the club management refused to listen to their demands.”

Now, he says, an 'open-house press conference' would be held instead at the Press Club of India on May 5.

According to 'Indian Express', “The FCC South Asia decided to cancel a promotional event and has no further comment,” said Munish Gupta, president of the club.

In a video on social media, Agnihotri called it an “unusual, shocking and extremely undemocratic thing”.

“Few days back, Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora informed me that the Foreign Correspondents’ Club in New Delhi was very keen to host me for a press conference as many foreign media wanted to talk to me about 'The Kashmir Files' and the truth of the Kashmiri Hindu genocide," said Agnihotri.

Wikipedia recently edited the description of film 'The Kashmir Files' after director Vivek Agnihotri slammed the online encyclopedia for calling the genocide of Kashmir Pandits a 'conspiracy theory'.

On May 1, Vivek Agnihotri shared a screenshot of the Wikipedia page of 'The Kashmir Files'.

The description read, "It depicts the early 1990s exodus to be a genocide, a notion that is widely considered inaccurate and associated with conspiracy theories".

Sharing the screenshot, Vivek wrote, "Dear @Wikipedia , You forgot to add ‘Islamophobia propaganda sanghi bigot etc’. You are failing your Secular credentials. Hurry, edit more (sic)."

The edited and changed version in Wikipedia now says - 'It (the film) depicts the early 1990s exodus to be a genocide, a notion that is widely considered inaccurate".
