Kind Attention .... Team Amit Shah :::: The message is addressed to Governor Bhalla !! ::::: "India can have only one Father of the nation"

The milk spilled .... who spilled it; ... how does it matter ? !!

This statement either in question format or as an exclamation spirit probably sums up the state of Babudom.

Essentially, they want to keep their desks clear. Cautious of what goes in record or so - they are also extra careful so that their track records -- while in service and also after that - remains clean and clear. We may not single out only - 'I am Sorry' club.

Some of them - may love to describe themselves as -- I am also Sorry !!

A few will call themselves - I poor Service. And so on and so forth.

In the meantime, some Nagas have discovered something "extra ordinary".

"I Regular Sir" !!

Delhi had discovered one 'I regular Sir' a few years back. His 'half destination' ended in jail for sometime. He was a typical 'man in hurry'. As it is - because he belonged the 'elites' Indians - as a Babu - he knew everything.

Probably the 'man' discovered by Nagas also know everything.

Otherwise who would give him so much guts. It's almost the suicidal path.

Remember what Sigmund Freud had famously said long back -- "The Aim of life is death".

Now this person is 'retired' - I Regular Sir - and he has come out to redefine how "the retired civil servants should not behave".

Look what he has done --  and writes with the confidence of a pencil pusher babu (as if he is still on chair) ... :

"In the author's considered view, the Govt of India would have recognised the national flag, the constitution provided and solved the Naga political issue a long time back".

My simple query is -- Is he drawing pension from Govt of India or from the 'government' whose cause of Flag he is advocating.

The "I Regular Sir' ... further says: "We had this flag yesterday, we have this flag today and we shall have it tomorrow too".

My next query is to Governor Nagaland and Manipur - Retired 'I am Sorry' club member - Shri Ajay Bhalla.

* Are you tolerating this ?

** More so  - you are the constitutional head of both the states ?

*** Is this yet another case of 'babu so rahen haen' -- we common Indians often get to hear if even the city is on fire around the official's 'afternoon napping time'.

If not - Time to pull up sleeves. !!

Uncle Google is coming to my help.

"Retired IAS and IPS officers are governed by rules, primarily the All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958, regarding post-retirement employment, with a key restriction being that they must obtain government sanction for any commercial employment for a period of one year after retirement.

Other service rules, such as the All India Services (Conduct Rules, 1968), continue to apply, governing aspects like associations with the press, participation in public media, and restrictions on employing children.

***

Conduct Rules: Retired officers must still adhere to the All India Services (Conduct) Rules, 1968.

The man in dispute -- may cleverly dodge the ambit the law as one provision says:

"Press and media: They (retired babus) can publish books or participate in media, provided they clearly state that their views are their own and not those of the government".

But my point here -- he is not only talking about 'views' as we understand the term in its simple form.

He has turned 'first person'.

He is saying "we" -- here for him "we" -- is not the "people of India" ... the opening phrase of the Preamble to the Indian Constitution.

He says 'national flag'. I am sure he is not talking about the esteemed Tri-Colour -- any bonafide Indian citizen is expected to respect.

Time to act:

All these happening at a time when investigators probing the Delhi blast had found links to Doctors and hence the 'urban Naxals'.

Articles penned by ex babus on matters concerning 'national flag and constitution' and showing disrespect is a deliberate challenge to the constitutional authorities and hence the Governor will be in his right to act fast.

Do not encourage 'urban naxalism' of a different kind when things are already in a complex and much complicated stage in Manipur.

The mischief mongers might have done it deliberately. This so-called Status Quo club -- the Ministry of Home Affairs is aware of --- is a powerful influencing club.

There will be money bags from a state capital and there will be threats and abuse of 'guns' from jungles nearby the commercial capitals.

There could be other intent also.  One brave 'I am Sorry' club man has called Spade a Spade.

This has rattled the elites.

He has probably exposed the nexus of Puppet Masters with people who may be still around but ready or rather keen to crossover international border.

So the game could be to just 'silent' such public-spirited voices. The brave ex-bureaucrat has been civil in his language and has been 'servant' to his conscious. And he has never shown disrespect to the National flag or to the Constitution of India.

But the administration is lopsided. In 2022; it served a show cause notice to a village elder and tried to silent others.

They would be too pleased to silent a reasonable voice who has incidentally coined the phrase - Puppet Master.

The bitter fact of life is - three sets of people are unhappy by use of such phrases.

- First - the 'puppet master' in debate.

* Second - 'the puppets' . And this is quite a large club. They are also Bolero fans.

** And thirdly - the ideological master.

Around 2011 - in Delhi and that too in Parliament of India - a communist lawmaker Gurudas Dasgupta had said - "India can have only one Father of the nation". His reference was to veteran agitation specialist Anna Hazare.

The issue was Corruption and that issue exists and also does not exist in the hills and jungles of northeast !!

And secondly - the agitation by him had paralysed Dr Manmohan Singh government.

Such 'policy and principle paralysis' should not catch up at Raj Bhavans in Kohima and Imphal.

People have enormous trust in Team Amit Shah. And the Governor Bhalla is a key player in that team. He can be a good wicket keeper, a brilliant batsman and an innovative bowler.

And as they say - Cricket is always a gentleman (and these days even a fine lady's) sports.
