SUKKUR AIR BASE
Located in Jamshoro district of Sindh, it is a forward operational base of the Pakistani Air Force (PAF) and houses fighter jets like the F-16 and J-17. The aim of the air base is to strengthen Pakistani defence forces along the coastline in Karachi.
One of Pakistan's most vital air bases, it houses VIP aircraft responsible for transporting Pakistan's top leadership, including the President and Prime Minister.
The attack on Nur Khan, located just 10 km from Islamabad and adjacent to Pakistan's military headquarters, was a strategic move that triggered panic among the Pakistani leadership.

PM had to answer a lot of questions, but he was silent... we want PM to call an all-party meeting...why is Trump making all the announcements?...what is the connection with India and US trade and stoppage of India-Pakistan war?...EAM, NSA and PM, all are silent".
Congress MP Jairam Ramesh says, " When Kargil war ended...after 3 days, on 29th July, 1999, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's govt constituted Kargil Review Committee, which had 5-6 members in it. It was chaired by K Subrahmanyam...report of Kargil Review Committee was presented in the Parliament on 23rd February 2000...NIA is investigating Pahalgam, but will there be a review? Will there be a briefing? "
