This only exposes the Congress party's "continuous slide into Muslim League 2.0 — divisive, desperate, and directionless".
Lashkar-e-Pakistan Congress: BJP fumes over headless poster dig at PM
The BJP came down heavily upon Congress for sharing a headless poster to take a dig at PM Modi after the Pahalgam attack.
The Congress drew the ire of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after it took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a headless poster for his absence from the all-party meeting on the Pulwama attack. The party shared a poster with the text 'gayab' to question PM's absence.
Though the Congress did not mention PM's name, it wrote in the caption: "Disappears at the time of responsibility." This comes after Congress repeatedly questioning PM Modi's absence from the meeting where leaders from all parties were invited for a briefing on Pahalgam attack.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia showed a picture of the Congress tweet at a press conference and said that the Congress is 'Pakistan supporter'.
"There is a national political party that stays among us, but if we call them Lashkar-e-Pakistan Congress, it won't be wrong.
This image of PM Narendra Modi has been tweeted by the social media handle of Congress. A strong message has been given to Pakistan that in India, the supporters of Mir Jafar are present here...'Sar tan se juda' has become the ideology of Lashkar-e-Pakistan Congress today".
"...Such posts are done on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi, which makes the country ashamed. It is an attempt of Lashkar-e-Pakistan Congress to weaken India at such a sensitive time...", he said.
The BJP also took to its official X handle and said that the poster "echo the extremist 'Sar Tan Se Juda' slogan".
The Lotus party added that it exposes Congress party's "continuous slide into Muslim League 2.0 — divisive, desperate, and directionless."
The BJP tweet also said --- "Now that PM Shri Narendra Modi has spoken the only language Pakistan understands, Islamabad’s official handles are parroting the same beheading cry, laying bare their jihadist creed.
"Let Pakistan and its fellow-travellers in Congress India threaten all they wish; New India will neither bend nor break. Terror will be met with bullets, not Biryani. This is the era of decisive leadership.
BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya accused Rahul Gandhi of instigating and justifying violence towards the Prime Minister.
"Yet the Congress will never succeed, for the Prime Minister enjoys the love and blessings of millions of Indians," he wrote.
