Ravan ka vadh kalyan ke liye hua" ::::::: “Non-violence is our nature, our value… But some people will not change," - RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

We may call this RSS Green Flag for War

Military action from Bharat/India post Pahalgam slaying of tourists could be perhaps compared with the action against evil.

None other than RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reminded a gathering in Delhi on Saturday that the killing of Ravan was not violence.

It was dispensation of Justice.

"Ravan ka vadh kalyan ke liye hua (Ravan was killed for the cause of good)".

There was no way to reform him (Ravan), and so Ram had to kill him. His killing was not violence," Bhagwat said at a book release function.  The remarks coming within days of Pahalgam attack and the BJP-led government taking a series of diplomatic and other strategic measures against Pakistan make it clear that the RSS chief was alluding all these to the terror hubs and their sponsors in Pakistan.

Emphasising that non-violence is a core principle of the Hindu faith, Bhagwat said Hinduism also teaches that facing aggressors and not being vanquished is equally a part of Dharma.

"We never insult or harm our neighbours. But if someone turns to evil, what is the other option?

The duty of the king is to protect the people, and he must perform his duty," Bhagwat said.

“Non-violence is our nature, our value… But some people will not change, no matter what you do. They will keep troubling the world, so what to do about it?” Bhagwat said.

The RSS chief also had earlier said that the Pahalgam attack was reminder of the ongoing battle between 'Dharma and adharma'.

Speaking at another event, he noted that the attackers shot people after asking about their religion, asserting,

"Hindus would never do such a thing. This is not our nature. Hatred and hostility are not part of our culture. But neither is silently enduring harm."
