"In our very first Cabinet meeting today, we have taken the decision to transfer the land to the BSF. The process of transferring this land commences today." chief minister Suvendu Adhikari said.
The land will be transferred to the MHA within the next 45 days. Once this is accomplished, the BSF will complete the border fencing, and the ongoing issue of illegal infiltration will be resolved within a short period."
Suvendu Adhikari said: "Today, we have issued an administrative order stating that the census operations will commence today. This initiative is finally being implemented after a delay of eleven months."
"The previous government, which the public completely rejected, gave a massive mandate to the BJP.
That government was characterised solely by appeasement politics, institutional corruption, atrocities against women, and a complete dismantling of governance; furthermore, they even went so far as to challenge the very Constitution of the country.
On June 16, 2025, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Office of the Registrar General of India, issued a notification.
It has now been nearly a year since that date. These individuals had deliberately stalled the census process. Their sole objective in holding up the census was to obstruct the efforts being undertaken by the Prime Minister to implement delimitation and thereby provide reservations specifically for our mothers and sisters. We will constitute a fact-finding committee to investigate this matter thoroughly."
"The Cabinet has now granted its approval for the 'Ayushman Bharat' scheme.
The necessary procedures, including the signing of agreements with the Central Government's Health Department and the completion of other requisite formalities, will officially commence starting today."
Adhikari also says, "I extend my gratitude to all voters, the Election Commission (EC), the Central Forces, the police, the observers, and all political parties."
"Regarding the 321 individuals who lost their lives during our struggle: if their families desire, the government will initiate an investigation."
"The process of transferring land in border areas to the BSF for the purpose of border security begins today. Our objective is to complete this transfer process within 45 days."
"The 'Ayushman Bharat' scheme will begin in Bengal. The 'Jan Arogya Yojana' and other schemes of the Prime Minister will also be implemented here."
