Lone Naga BJP lawmaker from Nagaland to represent India at Egypt meet of IPU Parliamentarians on Climate Change

Lone BJP MP from Nagaland S Phangnon Konyak, who is a member of Rajya Sabha, will represent India at the 8th IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Egypt.


"I shall be in Egypt for the next two days as part of the Indian delegation to participate in the Eighth IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, at Sharm el-Sheikh, where I'll also get to share my thoughts. Looking forward!," Ms Konyak tweeted.











She is also first woman MP from Nagaland in Rajya Sabha and second female after Rano Shaiza had made it to the Lok Sabha in 1970s.
