Hey it's corruption and Congress and Communists are on the same boat ::: (Congress-Communists 'jora hae (Bengal slogan for brothers/pair)' ....aaj ka din ... SICKULARISM HAE !!

If one starts diagnosing what ails communism and Left parties in India, soon one may end up telling some truths about the Congress party.

For long these two eminent political forces have been allies. They fought chiefly at the cadres/foot soldiers levels chiefly in three states West Bengal, Tripura and Kerala.

The Congress gave up fighting the Left long back in Tripura and also to a large extent in West Bengal. The grapevine is the Left tacitly accommodated Rahul Gandhi at Wayanad constituency as the scion of Nehru-Indira dynasty wanted to make a flight away from Amethi.

Now, the BJP has played a unique 'Kerala card' on Monday, June 13 trying to draw a major similarity between the grand old party and the communists.

Cleverly, the BJP is using the corruption as a yardstick to further marginalise Congress in states like Kerala and Tripura and also expose the Left in front of the countrymen and women elsewhere in the country.

Obviously this include the famous 'National Herald' case against Congress leadership and of course the communist regime in Kerala which is already facing the music in the infamous Kerala Gold smuggling case.

the joy of 'Delhi-circuit Brotherhood'

With regard to a case in Kerala the “needle of suspicion now firmly settled on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the CMO and his family”, says Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

Chandrasekhar said the Kerala CM himself in a letter in 2020 had assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the state government will provide “all assistance” to the probe into the gold smuggling case and that every link should be “unraveled”.

“But from that day till today, the Kerala government and Kerala administration have done everything to block the investigation,” he said.

Chandrasekhar said – “People associated with the establishment attempted to meet a lady (involved in the case) and settle the matter”.

High drama by Rahul, Congress on ED questioning prove something wrong, "attempts to scare ED" : BJP slams Kerala CM

Union Minister V Muraleedharan pointed out to alleged ridiculous practice by Kerala police as they have given up 'black umbrellas' but now carry "coloured umbrellas".
"...... Because Chief Minister Vijayan does not want to see black (a colour associate with protest) anywhere", he said.

"It is the height of fascism...more fascists than Hitler," said MoS External Affairs.

"Congress's real face has come to light. Why is Rahul Gandhi scared? If he's not done anything wrong, he should let ED do its job. Would the law change for one party & one family? The country now knows Congress party supports corruption,: says - Union Minister, Anurag Thakur

High drama by Rahul, Congress on ED questioning prove something wrong, says Himanta

New Delhi

BJP leader from northeast and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma
on Monday lashed out at the Congress and Rahul Gandhi for the conduct with regard to questioning by the Enforcement Directorate in the 'National Herald' case.

"Through his drama, Rahul Gandhi has proven that he has done something wrong. Otherwise, he would have gone there silently and given a statement to the media later," Sarma said.

He said the procession was taken out and he appeared before the ED with "an army" of supporters.

"India has changed, nobody will be scared of you now," he said.

Sarma, who was earlier a Congress leader and a Minister in Assam, said- "Rahul Gandhi is an MP of this country. When ED summoned him, he should appear before them and present his side before ED officers".

The law takes its own course.

"India's law is so strong that you will never be punished if you are innocent," he said.

But the vocal chief minister hastened to add, "What does it mean if you go to the ED office with your supporters, Chief Ministers and MPs - like you will file a nomination? It means that you want to scare ED.....that ED gets scared of your so-called popularity and takes no action against you".

India has changed a lot, the Chief Minister asserted.

Earlier, BJP spokesman Sambit Patra said the law was taking its course and whatever is happening
in the case is being done following the constitutional provisions.

The case is pending before a court and Rahul Gandhi is out on bail, Patra pointed out.

Several leaders and workers were detained in the capital on Monday and many Congress
leaders including senior parliamentarians and chief ministers have dismissed the entire case
calling it political vendetta.

ED questions Congress leader Rahul

New Delhi

Former Congress president and lawmaker from Kerala, Rahul Gandhi, was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday.

Gandhi arrived at the ED office after two summons. Earlier he was asked to make
himself available for questioning on June 8.

His mother and Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi too has been summoned
in the 'National Herald case' later this month for questioning.

The crux of the case lies in the fact that Rahul Gandhi is a director of a company called Young Indian and the said company with a capital of Rs 50 lakhs could acquire all shareholding of AJL worth Rs 5,000 crore.

The Enforcement Directorate had in 2020 attached one of the prime properties in Mumbai’s Bandra location under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The market value of the property is stated to be to the tune of hundreds of crores of rupees and allegedly allotted to Associated Journals Limited (AJL) illegally.

It had done so in May 2019 with a property in Gurugram worth Rs 65 crores in the same 'National Herald case'.

For records it has to be noted that Rahul Gandhi was appointed director of Young Indian, the company that got all the benefits in a clear one-sided deal, on December 13, 2010, while his mother Sonia Gandhi joined the board of directors on January 22, 2011.

The Supreme Court has in the past upheld the Income Tax Department’s decision to re-open tax assessment of concerned players for the financial year 2011-2012 in connection with the case.

The ED had in December 2018 attached property worth Rs 30 crore in Mohali.
Congress leaders and workers staged protests in various places in the capital. Delhi police detailed some leaders including former MPs.

Whatever is happening, the questioning by ED is happening under a constitutional provision

The BJP on Monday said that whatever is happening, the questioning by ED is happening under a constitutional provision. "The matter is pending before a court of law, and it is a matter of fact that Rahul Gandhi is out on bail," BJP spokesman Sambit Patra said.

He also said, the Congress conduct on Monday by staging protest and Satyagraha in a corruption case has hurt millions of Indians who cherish Gandhian principles.

"Till today, no one knew that one can stage Satyagraha over a corruption case," Patra said even as Congress leaders and workers have been detained in a number of places.

Left and Socialists protest in Parliament against Congress: 2012

Around 2011-12, the fungus of corruption has eaten into all spheres of Congress structures. The credibility of UPA got shockers.

There was gross impropriety in the coal blocks allocation --- something that ended at the prime minister Manmohan Singh’s doorstep.

Coal block allocations for private firms started in 1993, two years after the government liberalized its economic policies.

Earlier, the CAG had alluded to kickbacks and dubious deals in the allocation of 2G  telecom licences, leading to a  (Rs 176 lakh crore) US$32 billion loss. Corruption on a massive scale was also alleged in the organizing of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in 2010, as well as a housing scheme for widows of war victims and the privatization of Delhi airport.

These scandals all resulted in a round of resignations and the imprisonment of several ministers and executives.  A Raja of DMK and Suresh Kalmadi of Congress went behind bars.

BJP fields southern leaders, says Congress drama "signals to all economic offenders"

Intro: The saffron party leaders also slam Kerala CM for "black syndrome" vis-a-vis gold smuggling case

New Delhi

The ruling BJP on Monday fielded three southern leaders - two from Kerala - to lambaste
at the Congress party for the high drama enacted by them in connection to ED questioning
Rahul Gandhi in a corruption and money laundering case.

"There is an attempt to redefine the concept of Satyagraha, some kind of cover for economic
corruption....leaders like P Chidambaram, K C Venugopal and D. K. Shivakumar have flocked to
Delhi to protest an investigation into economic offence. It seems Congress party is signaling to
all economic offenders of the country that when confronted with probe and questioning, the way
to respond to that is to collect a crowd," Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said at a joint
press conference.

These dramas are attempts to "intimidate the investigating agency", he said.

With regard to a case in Kerala the "needle of suspicion now firmly settled on Chief
Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the CMO and his family".

Chandrasekhar said the Kerala CM himself in a letter in 2020 had assured Prime
Minister Narendra Modi that the state government will provide "all assistance" to
the probe into the gold smuggling case and that every link should be "unraveled".

"But from that day till today, the Kerala government and Kerala administration have done
everything to block the investigation," he said.

Chandrasekhar said - "People associated with the establishment attempted to meet a lady
(involved in the case) and settle the matter".

Another Union Minister V Muraleedharan pointed out to alleged ridiculous practice by Kerala police as they have given up 'black umbrellas' but now carry "coloured umbrellas".

"...... Because Chief Minister Vijayan does not want to see black (a colour associate with protest) anywhere", he said.

"The communists always take moral high ground of democracy, human
rights, freedom of expressions ...but in Kerala, as the Chief Minister traveled from Thiruvanathapuram to Kannur in the north, on ways transgenders were beaten up because they wore black dress".

"It is the height of fascism...more fascists than Hitler," said MoS External Affairs.

Agreeing with Rajeev Chandrasekhar's observations on the gold smuggling case that
the needle of suspicion points towards the Chief Minister, Muraleedharan said -
"Why should one is frightened so much unless he has something to hide".

BJP leader Tom Vadakkam said the Kerala CM is "suffering from black syndrome".

Earlier in the day, Union Minister Smriti Irani, who defeated Rahul Gandhi in Amethi
in 2019 polls, said the Congress is not protesting to save democracy, but to save Rahul Gandhi's
properties worth Rs 2,000 crore.
She said that never before has a political family attempted to hold investigative agencies to
ransom to protect "ill-gotten wealth".
