Shrikant Shinde-led all-party delegation meets UAE Minister Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan

On Operation Sindoor, Satoru Nagao, Fellow (Non-resident) Hudson Institute, says, "It was a responsible attack targeting only terrorist camps. It was a proper response and a good example of punishment. It was a good response to state-sponsored terrorism."
On the visit of the MPs' delegation to Japan, he says, "This is a very clever way of explaining India's view..."
On Pahalgam terror attack, Satoru Nagao, Fellow (Non-resident) Hudson Institute, says, " For a long time, India has suffered from terrorism supported by Pakistan..."
"We need to tell Pakistan that it should crack down on terrorism. It is a problem that Pakistan does not think that this (terrorism) is wrong..."
AAP MP Vikramjit Singh, who is part of delegation number 7 that will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, South Africa to present India's anti-terrorism stance; says,
"It is an honour that I am also a part of this official delegation. The government, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr Jaishankar worked with foresight to send MPs, irrespective of their political ideology or party, to these important countries.
Our neighbouring country tried to give it a religious colour. India is a secular country... It is very wrong to associate terrorists with any religion. Terrorists have no religion. They made a disgusting attempt to give it a religious colour by killing innocent people in Pahalgam by asking their religion...
All minorities in India have equal rights, equal opportunities. We will never let them (Pakistan) succeed in their designs...".
On the main points that the delegation will put forth, Congress leader Anand Sharma says,
"It is the isolation of states that sponsor terror. There has to be deterrence. It cannot go unpunished...".

"It is India's global outreach to inform, sensitise and mobilise the world opinion about the grave threat that terrorism poses to India, to this region and to the world as a whole...
Pakistan, for long, has been the epicentre of terrorism. The terror outfits are nurtured, funded and sheltered by the state of Pakistan, by their military leadership.
So this is something which cannot be allowed to go unchecked...
Pakistan needs to be exposed... All political parties, including the Indian National Congress, extended unequivocal support to India's response and the actions that India took. Nations stood up in solidarity with the Indian Defence Forces and we have to salute their action...".
