India, Pakistan for lobbying war in US : New Delhi hires Trump's "former brain"; Pakistan settles for bodyguard !!

Jason Miller is a veteran of Donald Trump’s political campaigns and shot to prominence in 2016 when he served as Trump’s chief media spokesperson.

The Indian government has brought on board Jason Miller as its lobbyist in Washington while Pakistan has hired Keith Schiller, Trump's ex-bodyguard, as its representative in the United States.

New Delhi has enlisted the services of lobbying firm SHW Partners LLC. The firm –– helmed by Miller –– will be paid a monthly fee of $150,000 by the government of India.

“This is not a new practice. This has been in place for several decades and under successive governments since the 1950s. These firms have been regularly engaged by the Embassy as per the requirement of the situation," MEA spokesman Randhir Jaiswal told reporters in Delhi.

"All such engagements are available in the public domain. In the run up to the Nuclear Deal in 2007 and thereafter, firms were engaged to strengthen India’s case. I should also add that such a practice is common among Embassies and other organizations in Washington DC and in other parts of the US,” he said.

Notably, Schiller, who has been hired by Pakistan, also had an interesting role to play in Trump's alleged Stormy Daniels sexcapade.

Schiller, Trump's former bodyguard and close aide, has registered through Javelin Advisors to assist Pakistan in building "long-term economic partnerships" in the US. His role includes strengthening Pakistan’s ties with both the US government and the private sector.

Keith Schiller is an American former law enforcement official and security consultant who served as Deputy Assistant to US President Donald Trump.

In fact, Pakistan's lobbying tale has an interesting facet.

As soon as it became clear that Trump was poised to return as President of the United States; Pakistan had launched a lobbying shopping spree in Washington, rapidly contracting a network of influence firms to reposition its narrative.

At least 13 lobbying firms have since been hired to represent Pakistan’s interests.

Seiden Law LLP, another major player in the network, has been paid $200,000 per month by Pakistan since April 2025, to coordinate high-level lobbying initiatives, including direct engagement with the White House, National Security Council, State Department, and key Congressional committees.

Seiden Law also subcontracted Javelin Advisors to further broaden outreach.

New Delhi's well wishers and strategists believe Miller is a person who understands how Trump's brain functions and this will help India's diplomacy to a great extent.

"While India has hired Trump's brain, a longtime adviser, Pakistan has hired his brawn, his muscleman, Schiller," says an article in 'India Today'.

Over the years, Schiller became a trusted enforcer and fixer, often seen at Trump’s side. He was the man Trump trusted to deliver FBI director James Comey’s dismissal letter in 2017.

From 2010 through 2016, Miller was a partner and executive vice-president at Jamestown Associates.[5][6] He was initially announced as the incoming White House Communications Director during the presidential transition, though he withdrew shortly after amidst news of an extramarital relationship with a staffer who joined the 2016 campaign two months before the election.

In 2017, he became a contributor on CNN,[8] but left the position in 2018 amidst unsubstantiated allegations reported by Gizmodo including spiking an erotic dancer's drink with abortion medication.
