Number of terrorists living in Pakistan is probably more than terrorists residing all over the world: Ghulam Nabi Azad



Former J&K CM and Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad says, "...I am happy to see that it (Bahrain) looks like mini India. The people from every religion live here. 


"There are no restrictions...Regarding our political intention, we might belong to different political parties in India, but here we come as Indians...Pakistan was formed on the basis of religion. 


However, eastern Pakistan (Bangladesh) and western Pakistan were not able to stay united...But in our country, people from all religions stay united. 



We live in peace and harmony...If we see, probably the number of terrorists that are living in Pakistan is more than the number of terrorists residing all over the world..."


After meeting Vice-President of Guyana, Bharrat Jagdeo, Congress MP and leadr of the parliamentary delegation Shashi Tharoor, said:


" It was a phenomenal meeting...he is a friend of our nation and showed a tremendous amount of understanding for our position on the current events with our neighbour (Pakistan). 

We also had a much broader-ranging conversation about Guyana's development and the scope of India to be part of this narrative...".

The all-party delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor arrived in Georgetown, Guyana, where it was received with great fervour and enthusiasm by the members of the Indian diaspora. 


Upon arrival, Tharoor congratulated the people of Guyana in advance for their Independence day celebrations, and shared the purpose of the visit of the all-party delegation.  


He highlighted in his remarks, "Our message is very clear. We have to stand against terrorism wherever it comes. We have to not only bring the evil killers to justice, but we must also seriously challenge those who are financing them, training them, equipping them, directing them to do their evil."


Noting that India has been suffering from terrorism for four decades, he said that India has reached a point of "resolved determination" against terrorism.



Another all-party delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad arrived in Paris, France.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey says, "Bahrain will definitely support us at two places - in OIC (Organisation of Islamic Countries) - where Bahrain is not with Pakistan and Turkey... and also at the FATF. 

We have these two expectations, and we believe Bahrain will support us...".
