Congress starts with a 'knock'; says "not interested in PM post" :::::: Opposition alliance is 'INDIA' (Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance).

By naming the alliance 'INDIA', it seems the opposition parties show only 'rhetoric' game and absence of any political substance.

For example, "NDA can you challenge I.N.D.I.A? BJP can you challenge I.N.D.I.A?," -- these will work well in social media only.

At the Bengaluru meeting, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is also learnt to have acknowledged differences among the parties

PM Narendra Modi slams opposition meeting, calling it a 'Hardcore Corruption summit' with a Rs 20 lakh crore scam guarantee, shaking the political landscape.

38 NDA allies meet, PM hails it as time-tested alliance

Ours is a time-tested alliance which seeks to further national progress and fulfil regional aspirations."

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the tallest leader in this country today. It's very clear that opposition parties are jealous of PM Modi's popularity:" LJP leader Pashupati Paras (Chirag Paswan's uncle)

Opposition Unity meet debate EVM, 'acceptance' of defeat ? Parties may send a team to Manipur -- 'silent' on Bengal

In the last two (Lok Sabha) elections, we have seen how the people of the country have rejected all these parties that have gathered in Bengaluru. The popularity of NDA government is rising constantly: Anupriya S Patel

It's like preparing ground for post 2024 polls statement in acceptance of defeat.

Several Opposition leaders already raised Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) issue...saying it is abused. Further talks expected on Tuesday.

It's not abused in Karnataka polls?

Discussions on state-wise seat-sharing and ironing out differences among regional outfits are on the agenda.

"...PM Modi got a chance to rule the country for the last ten years and he has made a complete mess of almost every sector in the country. He has created hatred amongst the people, the economy is in shambles, there is so much inflation," says Delhi CM and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

Sickularism's double standards have come to the fore. In the name of opposition unity, the Congress and other parties seem to forget the Panchayat poll violence in Mamata Banerjee-ruled West Bengal. Of course, Manipur figured prominently at the discussions and the opposition parties may depute a team to the violence-hit northeastern state.

Key leaders sat close to each other and discussed things in details. Reports say Sonia Gandhi sat next to Mamata Banerjee. The BJP has already described the opposition meet as a "congregation" of self seekers and party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad has questioned the Left parties' and Congress silence on West Bengal violence.

It is worth mentioning that Congress floor leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has attacked the Trinamool Congress government in the state but has been maintaining silence over the last few days. Ms Banerjee did not take questions from journalists at Kolkata airport before departing for Bengaluru. But in Bengaluru after the dinner meet, she said, "It was a good meeting".

How would India's 'political Brahmins' -- the Marxists and their Leftist friends who want to enjoy power without responsibilities justify their association with Mamata Banerjee is now not even a puzzle.

Sitaram Yechury (CPI-M) and D Raja (CPI) also attended joining the battle to save Indian democracy. The communists were left 'zero MLA' strong/weak party in Mamata'a backyards in 2021.

Now comes more interesting part, arriving for the Opposition meeting, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury ruled out any alliance with the TMC in West Bengal and said that secular parties along with the Left and the Congress will take on the BJP as well as the Trinamool Congress.

Ting Tong.... Ding Dong bell...Netas in the well ??

"Well begun is half done," Congress president Mallirjun Kharge tweeted. "We want to free the people of India from the autocratic and anti-people politics of hate, division, economic inequality and loot... United We Stand, for this INDIA," he wrote.
