Prime Minister Narendra Modi rushed to UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre on Wednesday, Dec 28, in Ahmedabad where his mother Heeraben Modi has been admitted.
Sources said, as per the hospital, her health condition is stable.
PM's mother Heeraben ba lives with her youngest son Pankaj, a retired Gujarat government official, at Raisan in Gandhinagar area.
The Prime Minister had last met her on December 4, a day before he cast his vote for the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections.
Before PM Modi arrived in the city, Ahmedabad police Commissioner Sanjay Shrivastava issued a notification
banning the flying of drones and other aircraft till Wednesday mid night.
The Gujarat government put off the weekly cabinet briefing and Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel
rushed to the Hospital.
State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also made a visit to the hospital.
