Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge were not invited to the dinner organised for Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Rshtrapati Bhavan.

Interestingly, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has been invited.

Congress's Pawan Khera expressed astonishment and said :

"It's quite surprising that an invitation was sent and the invitation was accepted also. Everyone's conscience has a voice. When my leaders aren't invited, but I am, we should understand why the game is being played, who is playing the game, and why we shouldn't be part of it...".

The Tri-Services Band, comprising musicians from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, is expected to perform a medley of patriotic tunes, including "Sare Jahan se Accha" and "Qadam Qadam Badhaye Ja".

The menu for the state dinner is expected to feature a blend of Indian and Russian cuisine, with dishes such as Kashmiri Wazwan and Russian borscht.

The dinner is likely to be a grand affair, with over 150 guests in attendance, including senior government officials, diplomats, and business leaders.
