Politics of Negativity & Defeatist mentality :::: High drama as Rahul and others detained during 'Vote Chori' protest: Mahua Moitra faints

High drama unfolded in the national capital on Monday, Aug 11th, as nearly 300 Opposition MPs marched to the Election Commission office over the 'vote chori' charges.

See how the Congress has been caught !!

( But in Karnataka Congress Minister K N Rajanna publicly admitted that the voter list revisions happened "right in front of our eyes" during the Congress rule but were not properly monitored.

He cited instances where a single person’s name appeared in three different locations, enabling multiple votes, and pointed out suspicious entries in areas with very few residents.

“It is a shame for us that we did not monitor it,” he said, criticising the party for staying silent during the draft stage of voter list preparation. Now, he has been asked to resign. )

The opposition is accusing the poll panel of 'colluding' with the BJP to facilitate electoral goals through manipulation.

Led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the march was stopped by police midway, prompting several MPs, including SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, to jump over the barricades.

Those who follow Rahul Gandhi are well aware of his love with the word 'Chor and Chori'.

In 2018-19; he had made a big fuss over his irritating sloganeering 'Chowlidar Chor hae'. And now he has come out with the latest Vote Chori.

At the same time - he is displaying dynastic arrogance when he has refused to sign an affidavit as urged by the Election Commission to substantiate Congress leader's wild and baseless charge of poll fraud in Karnataka. In all probability Rahul is playing multiple games  - he realises worse than 'poor' performance for Congress and even the RJD in Bihar.

So one possibility -- Congress may boycott assembly elections in Bihar.

A big hint has come from Sharad Pawar - who at this ripe age has made a childish claim that two people in Delhi had offered him to win a comfortable majority in Maharashtra polls. Worse, Pawar says he had even taken the two individuals to Rahul Gandhi.

It is ridiculous to think that a man of Pawar's stature and country's former Defence Minister did not alert Election Commission or made a police complaint on the matter.

Secondly, Rahul might be also realising that things are moving fast against him in one or two cases pending in the court of law. All eyes are on especially on the 'National Herald' case.

So he is trying all these games to deflect nation's and especially Sickular media's attention from those more sensitive matters.

Amid the chaos, sloganeering, detention and sit-in protest, two Trinamool Congress MPs -- Mahua Moitra and Mitali Baugh -- fainted. Fellow politicians were seen attempting to revive them with water and first aid. Baugh was shifted to hospital.

The march began near Parliament and proceeded towards Nirbachan Sadan, the Election Commission headquarters. Holding placards with slogans such as "SIR: Stealing Democratic Rights" and "Vote Chori" (vote theft), the MPs raised their voices against the government and the Election Commission.

They were stopped midway, where the MPs sat down on the road and continued their protest.

Scores of opposition MPs, including Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, were detained after their protests were stopped midway. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and his party colleague Jairam Ramesh were among other detained leaders.
