The Yunus regime does almost a bizarre thing to the country founded by Mujibur Rahman.
Bangladesh's new banknotes replaced the portrait of the nation's founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, with images of Hindu and Buddhist temples, natural landscape and traditional landmarks.
The new notes will be in circulation along with those having Mujib's portrait and coins.
"Under the new series and design, the notes will not feature any human portraits, but will instead showcase natural landscapes and traditional landmarks," said a source.

Along with the new banknotes, existing notes having Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's portrait and coins will remain in circulation. Another banknote will feature the national martyrs' memorial for those who died in the independence struggle against Pakistan.
