"When Bill Clinton & Tony Blair created the global leftist liberal network in the 90s, they were called statesmen. Today, when Trump, Maloni, Millay or maybe Modi talk, they are called a threat to democracy. This is the left's double standard...," -
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said, exposing the hypocrisy of certain influential quarters.
In a general sense we can say, Democracy also means people's vigilance. If Communists are displaying double standards; they and their Ecosystem, Indian SICKULARISM and such players in the west need to be shown the Mirror.
If people have decided in favour of Narendra Modi, DonaldTrump and Ms Meloni of Italy... well, people's mandate must be respected.
The Italian Prime Minister was also assertive about one thing and she added: "The good news is people no longer believe in their lies".
The real issue is not being Left or Right. The Islamisation of the west is a happening thing and it's the fact of life. Democrats for certain reasons and 'behind the screen' stakeholders have turned soft towards this Muslim appeasement.
To a large extent we are witnessing the SICKULARISM of Desi (read Indian) variety at the European or even global stage. America is not far behind. But Trump is trying to create a stonewall. That's also true.
Hence the Italian PM's statement should kick-start a much essential debate. The real debate is more than just discussing Trump 2.0. He has actually unleashed a Tsunami.
If he succeeds, the era of 2025 and beyond will be historic with a century of long term impact.
There are reasons to focus the debate in this manner.
Trump has perhaps taken a few pages from the political story of Modi's journey. He has kept his team young those in 40s and a few even around 35.
That means Team Trump will continue in American politics quite comfortably for next 20 years. Modi is also eyeing 2047 though he should be ideally out from the 'power position' by then.
PM Modi also created a few next generation leaders and one of them obviously is Yogi Adityanath. This is not out of love but due to meritocracy. This similarity we can see in Team Trump of 2025 also.
Of course some of those considered powerful in today's America are of Indian origin and Hindus. But the fact of the matter is none is there just because they are Hindus or they are Indians.
All of them are assets for Trump and are there due to all important talent and merit.
Trump's politics or the diplomacy of the Trump template ought to be grasped in their right sense. That is a challenge not for India but for all key global players.
Trump's trump card is the slogan -- 'America First'. New Delhi will be forced to push Moditva phenomenon revolving around VIKSIT BHARAT (Developed India) of 2047.
On the other hand the "Islamisation of the West" or "Islamisation of Europe" refers to the growing Muslim population within Western European countries, particularly due to immigration.
This has led concerns about potential shifts in social and cultural norms as Islamic practices become more visible within the western or particularly the European society.
The Islamophobia is thus a reality and the apprehension is not totally erroneous that a day may come when a Maulana/Muslim cleric will decide the course of actions and reactions of the NATO.
Trump has started the Tsunami in governance wherein he is trying to get a totally new set of players in the government offices. This will change America and this will precisely hit the Deep State as we understand the term. In India - that so called 'deep state' is called the IAS -- full form both -- 'I am Sorry' as was stated by a former bureaucrat T N Seshan and also the elite Indian Administrative Service.
Here lies a big difference between Modi and Trump. Modi is cautious about Indian red-tapism but he is also pleasing Babudom and keeping the powerful 'deep state' in good humour.
His search for talent pool often begins and ends with Babudom. Of some of them are quality people such as India's foreign minister Dr S Jaishankar. But if Namo wants results and he wants to shake up the bus called Sickularism -- he has to turn more Hindu in more ways than one.
And he has to take the malady by its horn --- that is dismantle the Babudom.
From Modi's or New Delhi's perspective -- the Modi-Trump bonhomie is okay. But it also has its limitation. Chemistry works but there is no room for extra emotion. Trump needs Modi and that way Modi will also need Trump and the US on need-base.
Nothing is more important than the respective national interests. In this context, India-Russia friendship is a good bargaining chip in the hands of Narendra Modi and Washington does understand this.
Wrap up:
In the ultimate, we have to talk about India's own issues and factors of permutation and combination vis-a-vis governance and development.
P Sainath is/was typically known as pro-Left liberal journo. But his book 'Everyone loves a good drought’ did some candid talks.
In India, it is certainly no rocket science to know or take note that Roads built out of tribal welfare fund neither pass through the tribal hamlets nor they lead to ones inhabited by tribals.
This is not merely in Hindu/BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh or Rajasthan.
Go to Mon district of Mon and if you go deeper into Oting region, the car could be sailing. And that's a Christian state where Chief Ministers, Ministers and top Babus (of I am Sorry club) have been God-fearing and church-visiting ones.
There could be other symptoms of the same malaise.
India faces challenges of poverty and also destitution. The sorrow and grief are deeply entrenched in the rural hinterland, that's true. Today's Babudom has no answer for these.
Hence need for lateral entry. Today's IAS officers are more ambitious to turn into tomorrow's Neta or UN workers and philanthropists for USAID schemes.
In media we also have problems - our Editors want to enter Rajya Sabha. Mamata Banerjee has even rewarded a few. She also honoured a Quiz Master who presume good politics or good lawmaker's job is to either speak out fluent English or shout 'Manipur Manipur'.
Did the anti-Modi Sickular gang among intellectuals and lawmakers visit Manipur before 2023 is no quiz time question.
And to talk about foreign funding - Trump and Modi may also clash as Christian lobby is hyper active in Punjab. The south Indian Christian video makers did good business in Manipur too.
Time to check and also thwart future game plans. India may soon need a 'Hindutva-oriented Deep State'. Rahul Gandhi may scream again.

What Trump and Meloni are doing regarding illegal migrants in their countries ,Modi Sahab was expected to do since 2014…..if not done in this term,I think it would be a big minus for present dispensation. So no awards for being in Trump-Meloni team if own interests can’t be served aggressively. -- Dinanath Chouhan, Delhi
ReplyDeleteSecurity (External,Internal and also in the mindset) is one of the most important elements of any National Power……Politicians play with this aspect as per their convenience and advantage. In the west Donald Trump is taking advantage of this aspect and trying to disrupt everything else too…….There is a divide in Europe too about America’s new found approach towards them (refer JD Vance’s speech at MSC recently)……Meloni is shrewd woman and will take advantage of this divide to Italy’s advantage. Everyone is playing his/her game for their own advantage…….Ukraine being the biggest loser. Shri Modi lost the plot in his recent US visit…..Trump killed it and proved to the world who calls the Shot. - Ajay Kumar, Pune
ReplyDeleteModi-Miloni-Trump represent a good combo ... Nationalists will thrive in times to come. Islamophobia is a reality and ought to be understood in true sense - Satis Xavier
ReplyDeleteGood analysis.
