Mohan Bhagwat as new President of India - 2022 ! Possible ?

Can Mohan Bhagwat become new President of India, Rashtrapati in 2022 !
Possible ? Yes, possible !, and Doable !

Why the debate? Well, its a blog and I am applying my 'freedom of expression'. It's India - that is Bharat - that is Hindustan - and certainly not Afghanistan! Did I say '....expresssssssion,,,,??

There are merits in the proposal, and needless to add there are hurdles too !

One, this is a random thought for last few days especially in the context of what happened in Afghanistan ! Let Javed Akhtar, a good 'son-in-law' not decide who should be my President!

Secondly, Bhagwat will be a major unifying factor for 'right wing Hindu hardliners' and also a large number of moderate Hindus! And this move would suit Narendra Modi's politics of 2022 and also beyond.

Incidentally, Sept 17 is Namo's birthday and yes, such a day dreaming and a doable dream can be his birthday resolution too. Well, he has not told me so, but as an individual I could back him!

On August 5, 2020 at Ayodhya that marked a major Hindu victory, both Modi and respected Mohan Bhagwat had shared some golden moments together. Both got similar media mileage, and if you can refresh memories we know - how the sickular establishment had reacted rather nervously !

Politically, it would suit the BJP also and on ground zero there would be significant mobilisation of Hindu vote bank in two important states of Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.

Of these two states, UP goes to the polls by February-March; Modi's native state Gujarat goes to the polls to elect a new legislature in December 2022. The politics applied by Modi-Shah duo in changing Chief Minister and the entire cabinet shows only the saffron party of India can deliver such a transition of power --- smooth and looking effortless !

Look at Gujarat's neighbour - Rajasthan !

The brother-sister and also brother in law are engaged in their mutual admiration and 'sacrifices' games and yet things are not in control.

Punjab is a tale of self-inflicted injuries and where still the BJP is no where electorally, but things do not look very bright and smooth for Congress either.

Oh Captain, My Captain ! Nay !!

'Keda captain' - screamed a cricketer-turned-part time laughing star in idiot box.

He is now the face of Congress - at least of the high command and yes, he has a 'yaar and dil daar' across the border!

                                          (Hindi captions have critical messages)

Now the hurdles and how things could be worked out. The 2022 assembly elections could easily decide the future of the trio in Indian politics - Modi-Shah-Yogi.

Yogi has to win the elections and with good margins to sustain his individual career beyond Lucknow, and Amit Shah has to ensure it is 'delivered' well and only then things will look 'workable' for 2024.

In 2017 March itself, I had predicted - Compared to Yogi Adityanath's chauvinistic hard-liner image, Narendra Modi will now appear the sober catalyst of development.

2002 mayhem and media's vitriolic outbursts were drained out in the Ganga of Varanasi. But crucially again, Modi did not give up Hindutva. The development 'catalyst' is only an added alloy.

My knowledge of Chemistry as taught by the likes of Prof N K Das (of Science College, Kohima) tells me that 'Alloy' - is a substance made by melting together two or more elements, at least one of which must be a metal.

Before dwelling much about Chemistry, we ought to also understand that in 2017, I had said -

In choosing Adityanath — one who presumably follows an ascetic life style based on yoga — party leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not only authorized him to anchor BJP's massive victory in Uttar Pradesh but also given Hindu groups a new generation of leadership.

The saffron-clad Adityanath, born Ajay Singh Bisht in 1972, is 22-years younger than Modi himself.

Yogi Adityanath was and has been the new face of the BJP and Hindutva forces in Uttar Pradesh.

Those who want to ensure 'ouster' of Modi are not batting for 'recognise Taliban' game plan, they also have a rather convincing kind of a story that Yogi and Amit Shah have major differences between the two.

Some political differences in 'power politics' corridors is always a reality;  but the fact of the matter is all three of them need each other. Secondly, had PM Modi had any major issues with Yogi, the UP Chief Minister would not have survived so long.

The English media and experts in website-sickular universities may not to like to admit, but even Covid19 crisis was handled well by Yogi compared to neo-secular (sickular) Shiv Sena-led regime in Maharashtra.

By the way, Maharashtra press's permanent 'PM-potential' Pawar-sahib is never known for efficacy.

That the 'sickular' stars nothing was saleable - they created Pegasus hype during Monsoon session of Parliament. The list of petitioners in Pegasus row include one 'pro-Left editor' - who did not mind even to put the life of Air Force pilot Abhinandan in jeopardy in 2019 !

The respectable Editor's master piece on Rafale - with select 'editing' of a Defence Ministry document is also well known.

At the end of the by July-August 2022, if we have Mohan Bhagwat as President of India, these pepsi-boozy crowd will get something on their nose!

'Hindu unity will be achieved'

Ayodhya symbolises 'Hindu unity'

Bhagat as President of India and Yogi as UP Chief Minister in 2022 would also mean - a smooth life in Varanasi in 2024 elections!

Even Amit Shah will enjoy this kind of arrangement. If things according to this theory - at least party - Modi would be ensure his parliamentary election victory in 2019 from Varanasi on the backdrop that he has created a strong Hindu leader for Uttar Pradesh. And also gave RSS its first Rashtrapati.

Taking Pranab Mukherjee to Nagpur was just one step. Bhagwat has also personally spoken about inclusiveness and his outreach to Muslims in Mumbai have also created some positive vibes.

In Maharashtra again, Shiv Sena would again prefer 'saffron' colour. And a resurgent Yogi in UP by March 2022 would also make it clear - whether Sena chief would still need Sharad Pawar around.

A phrase 'future friend' has been circulated and rightly being debated as well !

Notably, although a hard-liner, Yogi Adityanath was never a member of the socio-political group (RSS). That does not make a less Hindu !

RSS is also the radical engine room that runs the BJP government both at the centre and in many states. There is an agenda for Hindu nationhood - that is 'real Bharat'.

In 2017 again, RSS ideologue Rakesh Sinha had told media that Adityanath's selection as new Chief Minister "was the most appropriate decision."

Uttar Pradesh's has a political prominence. The state has 220 million people, who elect 80 of the Indian parliament's 543 members.

In the last two general elections in 2014 and 2019, the BJP's tally has been pretty good.

13th Sept, Blogger B'Day and BJP names Namo as PM candidate
