BJP names constituency in-charge for Northern Angami II

There's smoke and there is fire.
On Oct 17, 2022, 'Nagaland Page' story made certain claims about Strategy 2.0 by the saffron outfit vis-a-vis the state politics.
Here's more anecdotes. At the specific instructions from the central leadership, in Nagaland, all Mandal -- that is, assembly constituency in-charges have been announced.
If 'INACTION' can be just as evil as actions; effective Action means there is more to it than it meets the eyes.
The NDPP loyalists have in the last few months dismissed and lampooned various media reports, but this new development should force people to pull up their socks.

BJP general secretary (Organisation) B L Santhosh during his interaction with key leaders in Kohima had said, "...all of you work hard".
The message perhaps was not understood or taken just as a way of speaking!
Now, it's action time. When a Sangh man speaks - he means it literally! Hence, the BJP has also announced among others - a Mandal/Constituency in charge for Northern Angami II as well.
The esteemed constituency is represented by no less than Neiphiu Rio -- who would be yet again
eyeing an 'uncontested' journey into the corridors of power and loaves of office as the
typical phrase goes.
But here is a shocker - maybe even for the high-powered coterie with unhindered power and no accountability;
the saffron party has named 14 'full time' district in-charges for the party too.
By logic, if the Lotus party is to depend much on a match-winner (sic) and Himanta admirers NDPP and
itself contest only 20 seats - there is no need for such appointments at this juncture.
Of course, the pro-NDPP spin masters in BJP could still defend the champions of '20-40 formula'; and say the
saffron party is only preparing itself for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
By the time the article is read by a common reader, maybe the NDPP draftsmen and wise strategists would be
drafting a statement for a friendly party ?
The BJP sources also said a constituency in-charge each has been named for all 12 assembly segments -- which
voted for the BJP in 2018.
In Alongtaki in Mokokchung district, the Mandal/constituency in-charge is T. Youngtsukamba.
There's already a minor political reaction and in Alongtaki, Youth wing general secretary, Mawpang
Jamir has tendered his resignation.
Importantly again, there is one in-charge named for Tyui in Wokha district also wherein candidature of Y Patton
is likely to generate more interest and excitement in the NDPP camp.
For Kohima, which houses key segments such as Northern Angami II, the district in-charge will be
Puthai Lhaming. There is speculation about Kohima town that a relative of Chief Minister Rio
could try his electoral fortune this time.
The BJP's internal communique says the obvious - "....as per the appointment order, all these appointments
will come into effect immediately".
Interestingly, the internal and crucial development in the BJP comes a few days after BJP strategist V Satish
visited Nagaland. Satish important also met among others Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio - who was "not feeling
well" on that particular day.
For Kohima town, yet again, the BJP district president is Khrielie Usou, who incidentally
hails from a large Chicama Village which housea about 3500 voters for high profile
Northern-2 aseembly segment.
Our report published on Oct 17, it has been stated that the story of 'Nagaland 2023' will be Lotus blooming.
In Meghalaya, the state leaders have made the announcement already about contesting all 60 seats in 2023 all alone
despite Nalin Kohli-led organisational leadership in 2018 winning only two seats.
Kohli was Meghalaya in-charge of BJP in 2018 and now as Nagaland in-charge he is set for a crucial visit to
Dimapur and Jalukie on Oct 18, Wednesday.
Importantly, as Nagaland in-charge of the party Kohli had signed the 20-40 statement on July 26 and he would
probably defend it yet again. His visit to Nagaland every time generally gives a fresh lease of life to NDPP.
Earlier this year, he had also reportedly 'green signaled' the humiliation meted out to Deputy Chief Minister Patton
when the portfolio of Roads and Bridges was taken away.
That's called the 'compulsion' of coalition politics. Original author of the phrase was Dr Manmohan Singh, and
many still remember him as a 'rubber stamp' Prime Minister!
