One overwhelming section of Indians including those in the ruling BJP have been stating rather repeatedly that Soros has a clear anti-India stance. Yes, Soros could be the key player in the 'Deep State'.
Even Home Minister Amit Shah did not disagree that the 'deep state' has been involved in carrying out some anti-India exercises in India.
"We criticised the 'deep state' and not the US government," is the refrain. There is also a belief that the US 'deep state' played their game in precipitating the crisis in Bangladesh and installing a new dispensation which is anti-India in more ways than one.
Frmer Eastern Command chief Lt Gen Abhay Krishna (Retd) said in December 2024 -- "What we are seeing in Manipur is the 5th Generation warfare being carried out against India. It is not simply an ethnic conflict as many believe".
Hence, the central government needs to be cautious. Trump's approach is not simply being aggressive and anti-India on tariffs; he is also more keen these days to be Pakistan friendly.
Pakistan's army chief has been given a special lunch at White House. PM Modi cleverly gave all that a miss leaving Trump more angry. Munir has been also allowed to issue a nuke-threat to India from the American soil.

India is not surprised too. For long there has been a consistent 'dualism' in the American view of Pakistan.
Now, Namo is a target.
It is believed the Deep State has set a target of August 2026 -- by when internal divisions among BJP rank and file should increase and that could create grounds for replacing Narendra Modi.
The opposition camp is too frustrated and therefore we saw Rahul Gandhi immediately endorsed Trump for having stated that the Indian economy is 'dead'. This is not only untrue ... it is so much anti-thesis to Truth that no senior Congress leader were ready enough to state anything such.

Division among RSS and creating Deceptions are part of the bigger strategies.
The strong pro-farmers and pro-India stances taken by Indian negotiators for he trade pact has also left Washington and the deep state frustrated. Around that time came in Operation Sindoor and on May 10th -- Trump decided to start challenging Modi and making things uncomfortable for the BJP leadership in domestic politics.
To the level of being snubbed on daily basis --- Trump kept repeating that he has intervened to broker Ceasefire between India and Pakistan. The latter has slavishly accepted the theory and went a step further in recommending Nobel Peace prize for Trump.
But Modi -- as always - is indifferent notwithstanding the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi almost forcing Modi to open 'personal' battle of wits with the US President.
Now, the Indian side believe the US side wanted a FTA that would take care of the American interests in a serious fashion.
Now that ... nothing such has happened.
The Deep State is trying to bring in 'behaviorial changes' among key BJP and Opposition leaders in the country.
Over 40 MPs and mostly from the BJP would be approached by anti-Modi and anti-India lobbies to start working on the mission 'oust Narendra Modi'.
In step 2 -- influential NRIs in various parts of the world especially in the UK and the US are also being approached.
There are reasons of historical past that would make things further challenging for Modi or for that matter anyone else.
America is not happy with Brazil, Russia and China too. The gist is -- the US is always accustomed to hegemony.
During the Unipolar phase at the global stage after the collapse of the Soviet Union; the US has misused Article 51 of the UN charter -- that talks about individual and collective self defnce to serve its own (US) interest under the cloak of a UN agenda.
