Rafale inducted into IAF : Timing suits India best, says Rajnath

Hey, does that read like 'S' ....... Sickularism...... pity na !! All the prince's campaigns, sloganeering could not stall Rafale's arrival and induction into Indian Air Force. Yes, all these could not put Humpty Dumpty (opp. alliance of sickulars, liberals, columnists and SICK parties) together again !!

Rafale is finally inducted into #IAF. A Red Letter Day, Sept 10, 2020 for Indian Air Force.

"Golden Arrows are singularly blessed to be equipped with Rafale. The squadron has undergone intense integrated training with aircraft of other fleets. They are good to go and deliver," the Air Chief Air Chief Marshal R.K.S. Bhadauria said.

In the ultimate analysis, what ends well is a job well done!

The Rafale jets have been inducted into the Indian Air Force at a grand ceremony at Ambala Air Force Station in Haryana.

"This kind of induction is very important for the kind of atmosphere that has been created on our borders," Defence Minister Rajnath said in reference to the escalating tensions with China in the eastern Ladakh.

This sends a strong message to China obviously. 

"It is a strong message for the entire world, especially those eyeing India's sovereignty," Rajnath Singh was more than emphatic.


Of course, the Defence Minister's strong remarks come hours ahead of a possible meeting between
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the margins of
a Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in Moscow.

Notably, Rajnath also met his Chinese counterpart Gen. Wei Fenghe on the sidelines of the SCO meet of Defence Ministers in Moscow last week.

French Defence Minister Ms Florence Parly, who arrived here to be part of the induction ceremony, said - "Rafale means a gust of wind if you are poetic and can also mean a burst of fire in a battlefield".

Former cricket star, M S Dhoni also hailed the induction of the fighter jet.

"With the Final Induction Ceremony the world’s best combat proven 4.5Gen fighter plane gets 
the world’s best fighter pilots. In the hands of our pilots and the mix of different aircrafts with 
the IAF the potent bird’s lethality will only increase," he tweeted.

Rajnath Singh also said -
"I feel proud to say that our national security has been a topmost priority for PM Shri @narendramodi. Many obstacles came in the way of finding the air power that we are able to witness with our eyes today. But we were able to overcome those obstacles.

"Rafale with its multi role capabilities can perform a variety of tasks including Air Superiority missions and precision strikes against enemies. I am confident that the capabilities and technological edge acquired with Rafale induction will revolutionise the IAF capabilities".

I am happy to state that in the security concerns of this region; the views of India and France converge and we are cooperating with each other in dealing with common challenges like maritime traffic security and piracy." - the Defence Minister said.
