शबाई के नमोश्कार। शकल के दू हजार बाइस वर्षेर ऑनेक-ऑनेक शुभेच्छा।
(Shabai ke namaskar ..... Namo's mantra to conquest Tripura ....)

CM Biplab Deb, who was under attack, perhaps got a booster

During his travel from MBB Airport to Swami Vivekananda Maidain and also during his return Prime Minister asked the Chief Minister to accompany him in his car.
As both of them sat inside the car Modi told Chief Minister to undertake some ambitious and pro-people projects and told him that he would look into the projects when sent to him.

The Prime Minister himself came up with some ideas for Tripura and advised the Chief Minister as to how the government should go ahead with some pro-people endeavours. He even suggested as to how the City-Airport road should be made more attractive and wide and befitting for a road leading to international airport.

“The Prime Minister was very happy and he asked me go whole hog with development activities.

Political message: Namo in Agartala ...

New Delhi:

That he remains a visionary leader and a catalyst of development for the region is proved yet again as Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his first visit to north east in the new year on Tuesday solely on the development mission.

In poll-bound Manipur, he dedicated to the nation as many as 13 projects worth around Rs 1,850 crore and also lay the foundation stone of nine projects worth around Rs 2,950 crore.

In Tripura, the Prime Minister underlined the special significance of having BJP governments in the states while he is in control of things in Delhi.

"....there is no match of a double engine government when it comes to work with double speed. A double engine government means proper use of resources, it means sensitivity and boosting the power of the people, it means service and accomplishment of resolutions, it means united effort towards prosperity," the Prime Minister said.

The turnout at Agartala was humongous and hundreds of his admirers both men and women carried placards with Narendra Modi's snap.
"Seeing is believing...," said many as the turnout was a proof that the saffron party's grip is strong enough in a state where the communists ruled the roost for decades.

Among the projects inaugurated by the Prime Minister on Tuesday at the state capital

Imphal has been the landmark Steel Bridge built over Barak River.

The project will fulfill a long awaited demands of the people and henceforth

the traffic congestion along the national highways 37 will be reduced and ensure a seamless year round

connectivity between Imphal and Silchar in the Cachar district of Assam.

The road link to Imphal at present is via Kohima in Nagaland and commuters and truckers

often are faced with different kinds of challenges.

In his Agartala speech, the Prime Minister further said the India of the 21st century will move forward by taking everyone along with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayas.

Unbalanced development where some states lag behind and people deprived of even some basic facilities is not good. This is what the people of Tripura have seen for decades, he said. Modi recalled the times of relentless corruption and governments with no vision or intention of development of the state.

He said that the current regime came up with the Mantra of HIRA - H to Highway, I to Internet way, R to railways and A to Airways for improving the connectivity in Tripura. He added that today Tripura is strengthening and expanding  its connectivity on the basis of the HIRA model.

Manipur is now under rule of a BJP-led alliance and polls are slated by February-March along withUttar Pradesh and three other states.

The Prime Minister also dedicated 2,387 mobile towers. This initiative will be a major step

to boost the mobile connectivity of the far-flung state.

He will also inaugurate the renovated Govindajee Temple.

The Water Transmission System of Thoubal Multi-Purpose Project will also be inaugurated, officials said.

Prime Minister will also  inaugurate other completed projects while he will lay the foundation stone of

nine new projects.

Mr Modi inaugurated new integrated terminal building at the Maharaja Bir Bikram airport.

The new terminal has been built at a cost of about Rs 450 crore. Officials say it's a state of art building spread over 30,000 sq metres having modern facilities and supported by the latest IT network-integrated system:

Through the local architecture of building and various installations passengers will experience local art forms, bamboo- rattan creations, stone sculptures of Unakoti hills, Chabimura replica. Also, local bamboo art has been presented in multiple forms at the airport.

The New Integrated Terminal Building’s design turned out to be  a perfect example of the culture and heritage of Tripura and equipped with world-class facilities and enhanced capacity.

The new terminal building will be fully operated on solar power from April 2022 during day time. A 2-MW solar power plant is being installed here for this while a 250-KW energy plant is already functioning.
