We are both Islamic nations: Pakistan’s gross communal 'religion card' against India flops in Malaysia :::: "Rahul Gandhi, the calendar of independent India is full of your, your party's, and your family's surrenders"

"We are an Islamic country, you are an Islamic country... don't listen to the Indian delegation, cancel all their programmes in Malaysia."

- This was a cheap diplomatic stance by the Pakistan government but Malaysia rejected the plea.

Malaysia overlooked Pakistan's request to cancel all Operation Sindoor outreach programmes, citing the "Kashmir matter in the UN".

Trying to play the religion card, the Pakistani embassy urged Malaysian government officials to cancel all 10 programmes by the Sanjay Jha-led delegation.

Malaysia was the final stop for the delegation's multi-nation tour, which included stops in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Indonesia.

The delegation engaged with the Parliamentary Special Committee on International  Relations and International Trade, chaired by YB Wong Chen, Member of Parliament and  Chairman of Parliamentary Special committee on International relations and International Trade,  and briefed about the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam and India’s zero tolerance policy towards terrorism.

Discussions focused on ways to cooperate in  the collective fight against terrorism.

The Indian delegation met Malaysia’s People’s Justice Party (PKR), led by YB Sim Tze Tzin -- a former minister in Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad's cabinet -- and emphasised India's "resolute approach" under Operation Sindoor, while reiterating its zero-tolerance stance on terrorism.

The Indian delegation also briefed Malaysian leaders on Operation Sindoor’s precision strikes targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan, highlighting India’s “new normal” in responding to terror threats emanating from across the border.

Addressing the Indian diaspora in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee said that India should only engage in dialogue with Pakistan when it is ready to hand over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

After returning from the five-nation tour today, Sanjay Jha told news agency PTI that all countries "expressed their condolences for the victims of the Pahalgam incident" and appreciated "India's precision strike on the terrorist infrastructure."

All-Party Parliamentary Delegation conducted a productive meeting with representatives of  the Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) led by Datin Paduka Nur  Ashikin Mohd Taib, Director General of SEARCCT.

The delegation elaborated India’s steadfast and  principled position of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, especially  in light of the recent cross-border terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

SEARCCT’s role as a regional centre  for promoting counter-terrorism initiatives, and its role in India-Malaysia Joint Working Group on  Counterterrorism, was highlighted by the Leader of the Delegation.

Discussions centred around  regional synergy through SEARCCT, particularly in legal frameworks, counter-terror financing,  community resilience, as well as promoting studies on the ways to address cross-border terrorism.

'Operation Sindoor' outreach to other nations, BJP MP Brij Lal says,

"...We requested that condemning the attack would not do anything. Everyone has condemned the attack. Even Indonesia has condemned it...

There is going to be a financial task force meeting. We told Malaysia to take action against Pakistan... Not grey, then Pakistan should be kept on FATF's black list."

On Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi's statement,

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi says, "Rahul Gandhi, if you want to understand the meaning of surrender, then remember when you went abroad two years ago, you said why the defenders of democracy America and Europe are silent and not interfering in India. That was surrender...

"After the 26/11 terrorist attack, your government said in Sharm-el-Sheikh that the composite dialogue would not be affected by terrorist attacks.

This was a surrender to terrorist mentality...

There were 93,000 prisoners of war in 1971. Still, why did you surrender POK?...

"Rahul Gandhi, the calendar of independent India is full of your, your party's, and your family's surrenders... India cannot surrender to anyone.

We are the only civilisation in the world which exists even after thousands of years of attack, and you are not ready to accept this...".
