In its reply, the Maharashtra government has attacked Sushant Singh Rajput’s father stating that his allegations against Rhea Chakaborty of ‘committing criminal breach of trust’, ‘abetment of suicide’ occurred in Mumbai - and thus he had no reason to file FIR with Patna police.
The government has stated that Sushant's father was not ‘within his rights’ in registering a complaint at Rajeev Nagar police station in Patna. The state government has also stated that Sushant's father never made any request to the Mumbai police to file an FIR against Rhea.

Rhea's brother too was questioned by ED for 18 hours on Aug 8, but reportedly he was "uncooperative" and could not convince about financial transactions between him and 'Sushant's account'.
One Bilaspur-based IPS officer in Chhattisgarh Dipanshu Kabra has tweeted:
"To me it's strange that #RheaChakraborty requested Enforcement Directorate to postpone the recording in #SushantSinghRajputDeathCase.
She herself requested #CBIforShushant. She must cooperate in investigation & must not fear anyone if not guilty. Law always protects the innocent."
This missive leads us to the paradox associated with the high profile 'mysterious death' of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput.
“In the past four years, around Rs. 50 crore was credited to the bank account of Sushant Singh Rajput but surprisingly all of it was withdrawn. In one year, Rs 17 crore was credited to his account, out of which Rs 15 crore was withdrawn. Isn’t this a crucial point to be investigated?

Is she already being misled and misguided? What's her lawyers saying?
Meanwhile, all efforts by Mumbai police apparently with political connivance to stall CBI probe has failed. The CBI has already got its hands on the matter and taking cognizance of the request from the Bihar government, probe has been kick-started.

While Mumbai police role came under attack especially for quarantine of a IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from Bihar on the pretext of Covid19.
TIwari is flying back to Patna on AUg 7, Friday. But he told eagerly awaiting TV journalists - "I was not quarantined, the investigation into Sushant's death was quarantined".
There were many interesting 'findings' and 'revelations' by TV channels.
Former staffer of the late actor, Ankit Acharya said that the actor was a 'happy soul'. On Republic TV, Acharya dismissed the suicide and depression theory and said Sushant was a happy man and also liked books and adventures.
